"Wow. . . Kaito, that thing must've cost a million. . . "

"I know right? It's so beautiful, I almost thought I was going to cry, too bad it isn't for me. . ."

The blue haired male chuckled at the teal haired and golden haired girls in front of him.

"Yeah, too bad. That ring must've caused a fortune. Is that a real red diamond? If it is, then damn!" A green haired girl slung her arm around the teal haired girl, gawking at the ring.

"Yeah, I just hope she accepts my proposal. . ." Kaito frowned at the thought of being rejected. A sigh came from behind his shoulder.

"Seriously? I doubt any girl would not kill to have the guy they love propose to them with a ring as expensive as that."

"Gakupo is right, Kaito. I know someone who would do that. Two of them actually. . ." A blonde boy almost identical to the blonde girl stared at his sister, Rin. Then gave the same look to Miku.

"Are you implying that we'd kill someone over a boy!?" Miku puffed her cheeks out and crossed her arms, and shot him a look that said 'Really!?'.

"You said it, not me. Besides, it happened more than once before in some songs. . ." Len stared wistfully at the ceiling, remembering certain songs.

Kaito shivered and remembered certain songs that he really wished he could forget. There were more than one occasions that happened with almost the same situation.

"Okay, alright. I get it, whatever." Rin rolled her eyes, and glared at her brother. "Besides, this is for real this time. And I'm sooooo excited! You better choose me as the maid of honor!" Rin pointed her finger at the bluenette.

"WHAT!? No fair! You're not allowed to decide that! Who said you were going to be the maid of honor!? I should be the maid of honor!" Miku stomped her foot on the floor and placed her hands on her hips.

"Ladies, ladies. Calm down. You're both very pretty." Gumi snickered and readjusted her goggles.

I sighed contentedly and snapped the velvet box and placed it inside my coat. Just then, a voice spoke up from behind the counter near the fridge.

"That's not really up to Kaito, or you two. If Meiko accepts the proposal, only she should have the right of choosing the maid of honor." Luka said while her head was inside the fridge. My face paled at what she said.

"'If'?" Gakupo stared at her and gave her a disapproving grunt. To which Luka gave a shy smile and continued to eat her tuna sandwich.

Staring at her intently, Kaito's eyes snapped wide open. "WAIT! Weren't you on look out duty!?" Miku yelped, reading Kaito's mind.

Luka stared at her. "W-what if Meiko gets back!? I won't have time to prepare." Kaito panicked.

"Relax. I got a substitute. In fact----" Luka didn't get to finish her sentence as a white haired boy came barreling in, tripping on his. . . tail? Then face planting on the floor. He mumbled something incomprehensible.

"Stand up, Piko. We can't understand you while you're kissing the floor like that." Len kneeled on one knee and poked at the silver haired boy. The boy just groaned and lifted his head.

Kaito heard Rin mumble, "They both wished that Len was the floor." Followed by snickering as Rin and Miku high-fived each other.

"I said," Piko groaned. "Code Red." He glared at Luka, who almost choked on her sandwich.

"Meiko is coming! We have a few minutes! Kaito, get ready and go out through the back door! Everyone else, get in your natural places and act normal!" Luka yelled at us.
