A regular day in Detroit

My name is rahkel but everyone calls me luckyy. Im 20 years old and i live in Detroit. Motor City huntyy.
I live with my parents still.. But i go to college. Wayne community. Im 5'2 brown skin. Thick in all the right places but still a lil chubby.

Just a little background info.

Lets start from the begining:

It was monday.. I hate mondays. Today i had this bitch ass teacher i really aint feel like going to today.. But i knew it would soon be over and i wouldn't have to take her class ever again. Its 9:40am. I get up and go to the bathroom and do my regular hygiene. I came BACK upstairs to get dressed.(joggers and a t-shirt) When i finished i grab my bag and head downstairs. My dad was already in the car waiting on me.

Skips to school

As soon as i get there i see my besties tiara and ty.
We have been friends for like ever. I met tiara when i first moved to Detroit from Atlanta. And ty we been friends since pre-k.
Tiara: heyy girl how was your weekend what u do?
Me: girl i aint do shit but chill with my lil niece. And smoke a lil bit. Hbu?
Ty&tiara: we went to this party and got litt asf lol bitch ya shoulda came fr
And we seen yo lil boo there too
Me: he not my boo first off.. Second he don't even notice me at all. He gots all the hoes. But he still fine asf.. I aint gone lie
Them: mmhm

Class
They were talkin about Amir.. He was soo fine everygirl wanted him.. He had all the baddest with him all the time.. I just knew he would never date somebody like me..
I can't afford any of that name brand stuff the trues, robins, 400$ hair weave.. The only thing i could afford was air force ones and maybe some timberlands in the winter..
I mostly wear thrift store clothes (nothin wrong with it all) i mean not everyone can afford that expensive shit. I aint got it like that nor do i have time. It aint all about that material shit. Cause when u die.. You can't bring none of it with ya.💯

So im sitting in class doing my work and i get. A text from my home girl saying bitch yo lil boo Amir is hosting it.. So you going this time fr.😜
I text bk like ok i ain't been out inna min anyway. So fuck it

School ends

I start walking home. (I dont have a car yet)
I stop by mojo's to get some cigarettes and some rellos
I walk in and i see quan amd mark. They like my hood bros that always talk Shit.. Lol
Quan: you bouta smoke that reggie bs huh 😂
Me:boyyy you tried it fr. Miss me with that shit bruh lol
Mark: lets match.
Me: alright

So we walk a few blocks down 8mile to marks aunts crib. We all go in the basement and start rolling up. So i called tiara up so she could come smoke too..
She comes over and now we all just chillen high asf..
By the time i look at my phone to see what time it is i see its 7pm and call from my moms.. So i call her back to see wassup. She just was talkin her regular bs (where u at? How come u aint call)
So i hung up. Like damn ma i aint 15 no more. But i do understand.. This is Detroit.
So i tell every body im bouta go. Quan said he was gnna walk me home.
As we were walking quan was lookin at me kinda funny. He been acting strange lately fr.
Me: Nigga what u lookin at lol
Quan; you.. What i cant look at u no more or something..?
Me: i aint say all that.. I was just sayin its rude to stare.. Lol
We get to my house
Me; well i guess imma see you later. Text me when u get home..
(Before i could take another step) he pulled me in for a kiss..
Quan is fine asf too.. But not like Amir.. Ijs
But i dont really kiss him back. I push him off of me and go in the house..

As soon as i get in the house. I say hey to my mom and told her some lie about my phone dying when she was talkin.. She believed it.
I go upstairs. Strip. And get comfortable. And start to study.
I get a text from tiara saying she made it home safe.
When i got done studying i smoked my clip and went my ass to sleep.
Another day in the hood.. My life. Boring. I wonder will i get the man of my dreams one day. The world my never know💔💯
