Rants of a Mixed Black Girl

 Okay, so many people don't know, but I'm half black and half filipino. People usually assume I'm black or even mexican. So when I tell them I'm filipino, they are like "Oh, so do you eat sushi?" or "Do you eat dogs?" Like just because the Phillipines are in asia, doesn't mean I eat dogs or eat sushi. Another time, this Patrick Star lookin kid asked me if I liked chicken and cornbread and if I eat it all he time? Like what? Just because I'm black and I love chicken, doesn't mean I eat it all he time. I could have said to him, "Do you eat tamales all the time"? Uggh, I just don't get it sometimes.
