chapter 1

Once again i find myself wondering around my neighborhood because i hate my home and the people in it. As i walk the dark streets i listen to my music and kick around some rocks. My parents don't care where I go or what I do. They mostly care about my little brother and sister but I don't mind.

I start to make my way to 7-11 which is really close to where I live i usually go there and buy a doughnut or something. I make my way inside the store and it looks like I'm the only one there, besides the cashier who is too busy playing on their phone. One of the lights is buzzing and flickering on and off. I make my way to the candy isle with my hoddie up and my hands in my pocket. I look at the options of candy, I grab a chocolate bar and make my way to the cashier, with my head down looking at my feet. I feel myself bump shoulders with somebody, "hey watch where you're going!", I yell as I turn around to look at the person I bumped into. It was a male, he looked young, he had blond messy hair and a nose piercing, his white slevless shirt revealing the few tattos he had in his arm.

"Calm down bitch It's not like I bumped into you on purpose", he snapped. "What did you just call me?!"
"Bitch"
"Fuck you!", I yelled
"Right back atcha"
"You know what I don't have time for this", I said as I walked off, and he just rolled his eyes. Ugh what a douche.

I walked up to the cash register and set my candy on the table. "Is that it", she said while scanning the bar, I simply nodded my head. "Ok that'll be $1.75", she said as she stuck out her hand.
I gave her the cash and she gave me my recite. "Have a nice day", she said poping her gum.
"You too", I said as I walked out.
The only light was coming from the street lights and the big 7-11 sign.

Outside the 7-11 was a white van. I walked passed it but I heard a whistle coming out of it which made me turn around. A guy with green hair was sticking his head out the window and looking right at me. "Hey cutie come over here", he said with a smirk.

Any normal person would probably shrug it off and walk away right? Well at this point I am so tired of my family I'd rather get kidnapped than live with them.

I shrugged at myself and walked towards the van. "What's your name sweetheart?", he said. "Alex". "Tre stop flirting with her she probably thinks you're going to rape her!", said a voice from the passenger seat, which sounded like Mike.

Mike was in one of my classes but we never really talked to each other.
"Mike oh my God can you shut up I'm hitting on a girl here!", he said turning his head around.

"Mike?", I asked as I tried too peak through the window to see his face.
"Alex?", he replied as he stuck his head out the window."Wait you guys know each other?", asked tre.
"Yea, she's in my calculus class"
"Wow Mike you never told me your friend was so hot", I teased which made tre blush. "Yup he's a real man with the lady's", he said winking. "Yup, if you wanna get in the back I can show you what I can really do", he said moving his eyebrows up and down. "Ignore him he's just horny".
"Well guys I'ts getting cold so I should go", I said while I started to walk away.

Mike's pov:

She started to walk away and tre turned around and gave me a "do something" look.
"Wait", u said as I stuck my head out the window. "What", she yelled as she turned around. "Come here for a sec", I yelled back. She started walking towards the van and tre gave me a thumbs up.
"What?", she said as she reached our van. "This might sound girly and shit but do you wanna have a sleep over with me and the guys?"
"Sure, why not", she said with a smile. "Great get in", I said sliding the door open and reaching my hand out. She grabbed it and I pulled her in. "So is it just you me and tre?", she asked. "And Billie".
"Who-", "hey guys sorry I'm late the stupid lady didn't want to sell me some cigarettes", Billie said cutting Alex off. "Wait what the hell is she doing here!", he yelled pointing at Alex. "Oh great it's you again", she said sarcastically while rolling her eyes. "Billie this is Alex I invited her to sleep over", I said. "What?!". "Hey if I knew this was your little friend I wouldn't be here right now", she said crossing her arms. "Don't worry Alex Billie's just a little cranky that's all I swear he's not like this all the time". "Billie calm your ass down!", said tre. "What do you guys got against each other anyway?", I asked. "Long story", said Billie.
