“Mr. Constancio, your homework please,” he said to Alex.

“Um I forgot mine,” he mumbled. The teacher rolled his eyes and looked at me.

“Let me guess, you too?” he said and looked at me and I nodded.

“Alex, since you have drama practice, I’ll let you off the hook, but Olivia, I’m afraid I’m going to have to give you detention. You are going to be painting the set for the play coming up soon with Mr. Connors,” he said and gestured towards Jacob.

I groaned. I have to spend an hour with him?! Wish me luck…

Alex sent me a sympathetic look. Why did he get off the hook?! Because of stupid drama.

The bell ran indicating that class was over and we could go to lunch.

“Ok class, no homework tonight because I am so nice,” the teacher said causing a few laughs.

“You may be dismissed,” he announced. I gathered my books and stood up to leave but someone grabbed my arm.

“See you later, babe,” Jacob winked at me then left. I grunted in disgust and shook my head.

“He’s a jerk, don’t ever think differently,” Eddie said from the desk in front of me.

“Trust me, I won’t,” I scoffed.

“Good,” Alex said from behind me and held his hand out.

“Now let’s get to lunch,” he smiled. I took his hand and we walked off to lunch.

We reached the cafeteria and got our food then walked over to Austin and the others and sat down.

“Do you guys want to meet up at my place after school?” Tyler asked. Alex and I shook our heads.

“I got drama,” Alex explained.

“I have detention,” I exclaimed in disgust.

“You? Detention?” Tyler asked and pretended to be shocked.

“Shut up,” I mumbled.

“So what is he making you do?” Rob asked.

“Paint the set for the school play with Jacob,” I said miserably.

“I hate that guy,” Zach said in disgust.

“We all hate him,” Rob explained.

I noticed that Austin hadn’t said one thing since I sat down. I turned towards him and found that he was staring at someone behind us. I smirked at him and looked where he was looking at.

“Why are so nervous about this Austin? She likes you,” I said and he shook his head and sighed.

“I don’t know, it’s just… I don’t know. I get nervous whenever I talk to girls that pretty,” he admitted and my smiled grew big.

“Aww! That’s so sweet! Austin likes someone!” I said and he chuckled.

“Go talk to her,” I demanded and he shook his head.

“Just give me a day okay?” he asked and I sighed in defeat.

“Ok whatever you say,” I said and munched on my cheeseburger.

He rolled his eyes.

“We should call you Miss Love Doctor now,” he mumbled. I glared at him.

“I just like helping my friends, is that wrong?” I shouted. He laughed and shook his head.

“No, it’s a good thing, and it’s like you know who everyone likes,” Alex said.

“You guys are weird,” I smiled.

“Not as weird as you,” Tyler said and pointed to me.

“Whatever,” I mumbled.

I looked around the cafeteria at everyone and then my heart stopped.

There was Georgia standing in the corner of the cafeteria talking to Sarah. My mouth gaped open.

What was she doing.

“Um guys I’m gonna be right back,” I said and got up. I watched as Sarah walked away from Georgia. I reached Georgia.

“I think you have some explaining to do,” I said and crossed my arms over my chest.

She looked shocked when she saw me.

“Its not what it looks like!” she said. I shook my head.

“Then what was it?”

“Look it’s nothing important I swear,” she explained.

“It better be nothing,” I warned and then walked away.

What was she hiding?
