Val POV

There is a point in everybody's life where they realise that they want to be with somebody.. The same happened with me and Chloe. But in my case I realised that this woman is the one I want to spend the rest of my days with... We met each other during the first day of DWTS and I instantly fell in love with her but I knew she was married and I just couldn't destroy her happiness even though I knew that he was a huge douche.. She took a break when her second child was born and then when she realised she was pregnant again she just had to take a break until she found a balance in her life again, because her husband broke up with her and she was left alone with 2 children and pregnant with a third one. I remember the day they broke up like it was yesterday

*flashback*
I just returned home from the rehearsals.. It was a very tiring day and all I wanted to do is relax and sleep.. But no.. My idea was ruined by the door bell.. Who could be this late?  The only way I could find out is by opening the door and this is what I did.. But I didn't expect to be her.. "Chloe? " I saw her red eyes. She was crying.. Oh I am going to kill him.. "come in baby... Come here" I hugged her.. In moments like this a hug is everything you could ask! "can you tell Me what happened? " I asked her worried.. "he cheated.." she said so quietly and I almost didn't hear it.. But unfortunately for him I did.. "I am going to kill him.. Where are the kids?" I asked her thinking that maybe he was the one keeping them.. But her answer calmed me down "they are with Peta"
"OK.. Listen.. You have to calm down.. You crying and stressing out is not healthy for the baby.. OK? You have to forget about him and concentrate on yourself and your beautiful kids.. I am going to take them and you will go upstairs and sleep OK?" I asked her.. Before I leave I had to make sure that she was OK and not stressing out.. "ok" she said and her voice broke in the end.. I hate to hear her like this.. I was ready to leave when her voice stopped me "val.. Thank you very much"
All I did was smile in answer.. I went and took her kids and drove them to my house where Chloe was.. When we arrived at my house I saw that they were both already asleep.. I took them inside and put them to sleep in my bedroom where Chloe was..

*flashback end*

I was there to pick up her pieces.. And I was really patient with making her feel the same thing I did.. I was there with her from that moment.. 2 months later when she was 6 months pregnant I asked her to move in with me so I could keep an eye on her.. She refused telling me she was feeling a little uncomfortable and I respected that.. But when she was 8 months pregnant I asked her to move in with me.. She agreed.. During a late visit at the hospital she admitted that she was feeling something for me too.. But it was too early for her to move on.. I told her that I would wait as much as I had to wait till she was ready.. When she was in labour I was there with her.. Her ex-husband never came to the hospital so the doctor assumed I was the father.. It didn't really matter to me.. I was there with her and that was the most important thing for me.. That night we kissed for the first time.. Since that moment we have been together and it has been already 5 years.. Abby, who is the youngest one,  calls me dad and I was really shocked me the first time she did but i was really excited.. The older ones, Luke and Nikki, call me val.. But once luke and I had a honest conversation and he told me that he loves me as a dad.. When I told Chloe the she had tears in her eyes.. We were becoming a family.. So I decided to propose to her but I definitely needed the help of the three most important people in her life! Her children! Right now luke and Nikki were upstairs doing their homework and I was sitting in the living room watching after Abby who was playing
"val?" Luke called for me from upstairs so I went upstairs and entered his room "what's up buddy? " I asked him.
"I need to ask a favor" he told me!  I didn't know what to expect "tell me and I can see what I can do" and he told me "can some of my friends come and stay here for the night? "
"listen your mum will be tired from the rehearsals! This weekend is the finals and she is stressed out!  Why don't you wait for the next week? " I tried to explain to him and fortunately he understood where I was coming from!  He is a smart kid!  I am sure he could come up with a great idea for what I am planning to do
"uhm, Luke I need your help with something too" I continued and this caught his attention
"with what? " he asked me. "I want to propose to your mother and I need you to help me come up with a good idea! How does this sound to you? " I asked him scared of his reaction.. He smiled and told me "OK.. It will be awesome". Then the other two kids came in the room and Luke told them what I needed and they both agreed too.. It will be perfect.. As perfect as she is. It had to be during the live this weekend.. I couldn't wait any longer. This weekend would be perfect as it it the first time she participates again in the show after the birth of Abby and she made it to the final with her partner, Cody (I know Cody is in another season and with another partner obviously but for the sake of the imagine)
OK so I was informed that during the final there will be an opening number with all the pros and there will be some kids dancing too.. I made sure that Luke, Nikki and Abby will be there too. I hope it will be perfect!
