I met someone the other day
Whose words attacked my dim lit way.
I challenge the words and try filling her with reality and pain.
She simply replies in honest domain.
I sit and challenge the views of this girl
But she'll just tell me what she feels is her perfect world.
She believes in true love, and happy ends.
I believe in isolation, hardly friends.
She tells me she's sad that people put her dreams down.
Some reason I'll support her dreams, and refuse to see her frown.
She lives by something I despise with my life.
It bothers her but I respect her reasons because it helps her shine.
I've met people both strong hearted and weak.
Yet the balance in mine is somehow unique.
From what I can say and it's true you might know.
A perfect world is how you choose to live your life
Whether with someone or alone.
