Finally after a long day Mallory and I left the dump we call a school . "so I heard about the new guy," she teased wiggling her eye brows. I stared out the window . "what happened?" she asked . "I am so confused he was so weird and I don't know he is strange," I yelled throwing my hands up in the air. For the rest of the car ride was silence. until Mallory squeaked "Not to alarm you but look who followed us home,". I looked and saw standing on the driveway was Marcus . I slammed the car door. "what are you doing here?" I said cooly. he walked up to me . "I live three houses down," he said without emotion. his eyebrows furrowed "I need to apologize for how I acted today ," he said looking into my eyes . for a second I swear his eyes flashed green. he touched my wrist for only a moment . I shivered. "please ," he whispered into my ear. all I did was nod.

And he was gone.
