A boy named jake just moved into a new neighbourhood with his mother, he doesn't like it here. One day his mom tells him to go play outside, so he does....
Day 1: It was like any other ordinary boring, old day; until mom comes and tells me we're moving. I asked her " when are we moving and why"? She responded, " we're moving because this house is old and we're moving today, just in about 2-3 hours the moving truck will be coming; and then we'll be out". I was surprised we had just moved into this house a year ago, and why would we be going all of a sudden.
Day 2: Finally, we had arrived at 12pm last night. I didn't really like this house; it was small, dirty, had spider-webs everywhere and there's a forest near by. I hated this new place; the school is literally 8 km far and you don't even get bus, that sucks! One day I was sitting at home, lazily and bored; and then my mom asks me what I did at school. I didn't answer. Then she asked me " did you make any friends"? I simply moved my head left to right. So, she told me to go outside and get some fresh air and maybe even make some friends. I madly went out, and went for a long walk. I walk and walk, and walk; and finally I end up by the forest. I decide to go into the forest. When I go in I see completely nothing but when I walk about a metre and a half more, I feel a tap on the shoulder. I nervously turn around.... and see a boy about a inch shorter than me and, he looked like about the same age as me to. He said in a very quiet but confident voice, "hello". I responded also very quietly "uhh... hi". " What's your name" asked the boy. I said " my name is Jake, Jake Bailey "; what's your name? The boy said " my name is Travis, Travis Hunter". The 2 boys had an amazing time they laughed they played, they had a blast; and the next they knew was that it was night time, and Jake's mother was calling Jake home. Jake simply said bye and left his new friend.
Day 3: Jake rushed to do everything in the morning he ate breakfast as fast as he can and ran off to go meet his new friend. When he arrived at the forest he looked for Travis. Jake looked and looked but just couldn't see Travis anywhere. Travis had told Jake that whenever they meet it would be at that same spot, in the middle of the forest. Jake waited a minute longer and their Travis was right next to Jake standing side by side to him. At first Jake got startled and scared but when he asked Travis that where he was, Travis simply said that he had waken up late and it took him a little time to have breakfast. That seemed reasonable for Jake and thought that Travis was telling the truth. Jake then looked at his watch that told the day of the week, month, and time. It had said Sunday September 10; which meant that the day after was a weekday, which meant that he had to go to his new school. That reminded Jake that he had wanted to ask Travis what school he goes to; so he did. Travis hesitated for a bit and then replied " I go to the same school as you do". Jake was a little surprised but really happy. Jake then said" so that means you go to merry wood drive middle school , right"? " umm...... Yea" said Travis. " Well then, that'll be great we're both gonna go to the same school and I won't be a complete loner on my first day" said Jake. " wait, I forgot to ask you; what grade are you in", said Jake. " oh yeah.. Well I'm in grade 7" said Travis. Jake was really shocked because he was also in grade 7, and kind of felt a little suspicious about Travis; but then it all went away.
Day 4: "Mom I'm ready for school" said Jake. "Bye, sweetie" said Jake's mother. Jake walked to the forest where he always meets Travis. He waited and waited but Travis didn't come. Jake was walking out of the forest when an elderly man sitting on his porch across the street saw Jake and called him over. Jake didn't want to go but then realized that it's just an old man and he still has 2 hours before school starts; so Jake decided to go. "Yes " said Jake to the old man. " boy what were you doing in that forest " said the man in a cracky old voice. " umm....I was just waited for a friend. We always meet in that forest" said Jake. " what's the boy's name" asked the old man. " TTTravis" said Jake. " Travis Hunter, is that the boy you were waiting for, Travis Hunter" said the man. " well, let me think about it...........yes, yes it is" said Jake. "But how is that possible Travis Hunter died 12 years ago" said the man. 😱" what, what, how, but I met him. I met him everyday, ever since I came here." Said Jake. " well, everyone just said that he died. What actually happened was that he would always walk into that forest, and one day he walked in there and
never came back. No one ever knew what happened. But then one day they found Travis Hunter's dead right in the middle of that forest no one ever found out how he died, they just declared it a murder mystery "said the man. Jake had no words. He left the porch in complete silence and headed of for school.
Day 5: Jake was still in that shock that the first friend that he had made in this new community was not even alive. Jake decided on going to meet his not alive friend just once more. Just like everyday he said bye to his mother and left for school. Jake walked to the forest where he would always meet Travis. Jake called out for Travis. Jake was just about to leave and then Travis came up behind Jake and said "what do you want". Jake told Travis that he has found out the truth about him. 6 hours later Jake's mom goes out for a search for Jake but didn't find him anywhere, she even met up with the police but even the police couldn't find Jake. In the end everyone just agreed on that Jake had died and was last seen heading towards the forest. Since then no one ever enters that forest until one day.......
