When I returned to my cell that evening, I was in no mood to talk to anyone. I just got in the cell, laid down and tried my hardest to fall asleep.

Of course you can only sleep so long until the guards want you to do something else.

"Lunch time!" I heard the cell controlee say before all of the cell doors opened.

I just laid there and didn't make a move to go. I wasn't hungry and I didn't care to have to face the other inmates.

I heard some scuffling and then the top bunk made creaking noises and Michael was off the bed and standing in front of me.

"I'm not going. Go ahead without me. I'm just going to stay here and rest. I've had a bad day already," I said and continued staring at the wall.

He hesitated but nodded and set foot for the cafeteria. He draped the curtain down before leaving and I was secretly grateful for it. It felt a little private.

When he left, I was left with my thoughts. They were starting to consume me and I didn't know what else to do.

Ten. Twenty. Thirty minutes passed.

One hour. That's when I heard mumbles and I knew the inmates were starting to return.

I sighed and decided to sit up in my bed and wait for Scofield to return. I really needed someone to talk to in here, and it wasn't going to be no "T-bag" or some shit like that.

My celly was literally the person I was going to have to be close to for the next fifteen years (or however long he's here if he's here as long as I am). So why not get some weird shit out of the way?

I got up to go and brush my teeth for the second time in the day. I was rinsing out my mouth when I saw the shadow of the curtain move.

I spit out the contents in my mouth when I heard him speak.

"Well, well darlin'. It doesn't look like your pretty boy is here to save you this time," he smirked at me and licked his lips again.

I was terrified out of my mind but I couldn't let him know that.

I smirked myself and started bluffing.

"I wouldn't get too excited. He's going to be back any second," I stared him in the eyes, knowing I was making a mistake.

His cackle made me want to jump out of my skin.

"You are one feisty litte thang ain't ya? Well honey I highly doubt that when I just saw him being taken to Dr. Tancredi's office for his illness," my heart rate was picking up and I knew I was in trouble. This guy was bad news all around.

"Jus-Just leave me alone, alright? I'm not in the mood," I tried to sound confident but even I knew he caught on to my shakiness.

He turned around and for a moment I thought he was going to leave.

However, my hopes were high and short lived, because he told the guys something and they stepped out and I was left in the room with him.

I thought about stalling him. That would give me enough time until Michael got back.

But even if he got out of the doctor's soon, there's no guarantee that he will be back before something bad happens to me.

My heart was only picking up in speed, and it was starting to feel like it was going to jump out of my chest with every pump.

"Listen, T-bag," I tried to reason with him as he came closer to me. "You really don't want to do this, okay? Y-you will be making a big mistake."

"Oh honey I've made lots of mistakes already. How else you think I got myself locked up?" His grin only made it worse as he inched closer and closer.
