(Brendon's POV)

So earlier this week my family decided to uproot and move to a small town in Ohio, Unfortunately I don't know anyone! I guess it's okay since it's a bit of a bigger house, but I miss Vegas.

"I'm not happy about moving but my parents said it would be fun and I'm definitely not happy about leaving all my other friends behind either" I told my friend over Skype, But I hung up because I heard my mom coming up the stairs to my still packed up bedroom. I didn't want her hearing me talking about not particularly liking it here because I don't want to upset her.

"Hey can I come in?" She said as she knocked softly on my door
"I guess" I said as I shut off my laptop
"There's a girl across the street, You should go introduce yourself!.. It would be good for you to get to know somebody, we've been here nearly a week and you know nobody" she reasoned.
"Can you get out mom, Please?" I said in an irritated tone as I rolled my eyes
"Watch your tone and go talk to her" My mother exclaimed as she was walking out of my room "Plus she's cute"  She looked at me and winked than laughed
"Seriously mom stop!" I snapped at her, it irritates me on how she's going to tease me about how a "cute" girl lives across the street. Well at least she's probably cute...

It's been about an hour and I feel bad for getting snippy with my mom. I walk out of my bedroom and down the stairs to the living and look around to see if my mom was around... Nope not in the living room, or her room, then the kitchen... still not anywhere.

*BUZZ BUZZ*

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket so I pull it out and check it *One new message from Mom*

Mom- Hey had to run to the store for groceries and took the twins so you can leave and talk to that girllll, Love you be back in an hour or two! And your dad is at an interview so don't text him!

Great did she really leave me just so I can talk to a girl? Too bad for my mom, anyways I should go unpack.

(Shiron's POV)

I was outside sitting on the porch enjoying the warm air while doodling in my sketchbook. My mom came outside and told me that she talked to our new neighbors, Grace and her husband Boyd. Turns out one of their sons is my age.. so hopefully he's not a douche.
"Shiron you should go introduce yourself to their son, he could use some new friends! They moved here from Vegas!" My mom exclaimed
"yeah okay I wi-" I was cut off by my step father Jim
"No you won't, you will have no part of that boy's life, you're only sixteen and I won't let a druggie from Vegas corrupt you!" He stated raising his voice getting in my face. God the stench of booze in his breath makes me sick!
"You can't make that decision for me!" I raised my voice back, looking towards my mom for backup
"Maybe he's right..." She said looking down "Listen to your fathe-"
"No mom he isn't in charge of me!" I spat back looking into Jim's glaring eyes
"Well I am! And listen to what you're told" she said walking inside with Jim, slamming the door behind them. Wow a drunk told me he doesn't want some corrupting me...

(Brendon's POV) *Cut to Brendon lighting a joint*

I put the joint I found between my lips and lit it. I open my window and start unpacking my boxes. Even though we've already been here a week I've only gotten out a few items of clothing and find a few other necessities. I took a nice long drag from the joint I lit and let the smoke into my lungs before I exhaled. I dug through a few boxes until I found a half empty pack of incense, I decided to look for one of my incense holders so I could light one. Once I found one I lit one and placed the holder on the top of my dresser, my parents would be pissed if they came home to the smell of weed. As I went through some more boxes I found a new pack of cigarettes and tossed them onto my bed. I grabbed my box with my actual bedding because I've only been using sheets.

After about an hour of constant working I'm nearly done with all the main stuff, I left all my posters, pictures and other decorations packed away until I have a place I want to put them for sure. I decided that I should head out before my mom gets home so I don't have to help put groceries away. So I grab my wallet and head out to see what's around my new neighborhood.
