Innocence (short story)

Today I Met The Perfect Guy:

1/30/16

I was taking a merit badge (environmental science) and we went to the lab to do an experiment. We had to get into groups and there was a cute guy in my group who looked older than me and he caught me looking at his butt. He smiled at me and then we had to go back to the classroom and he ran up beside me and asked me how I was doing. Of course I told him I was fine and then when we made it back to the classroom he kept asking me to sit next to him like three times. I kept saying I'm good and he eventually gave up. He kept trying to make me laugh by flipping to a page in a biology book of a man with messed up teeth, of course I laughed.Then we went to lunch and I waited on him and he seemed very surprised I waited on him? We started to walk to lunch together. Then the merit badge councilor yelled down the hall and told everyone to wash there hand I was just going to use germ X but I didn't want him to think I was disgusting.So I walked into the bathroom and of course the guy followed me I washed my hands, he washed his and we continued to lunch. I waited on him outside of the bathroom and he seemed surprised once a again that I waited. We started to walk down the stairs and we asked each other basic questions. I asked his age (15) and he asked mine (17). He looked really surprised and I said how old did you think I was. He said 14 or 15! He's also in the 8th grade and he lives in Huntsville.When we made it to the cafeteria we sat with our troops and we ate lunch. When I was in line to get my lunch he walked along side me the entire time I was in line. Then he came over and sat across from me and we talked then me and my friend were talking about how Mountain Dew is good with Doritos and video games. My friend said you don't have a Mountain Dew you have Root beer. The guy got up and came over and put a Mountain Dew in front of me I was soo happy but I contained myself and kept telling myself he's too young. I gust my assistant scoutmaster caught on because he said something but I didn't catch it. Then we went to our second class and I went to a CPR training class. After our second class we talked and I didn't ask for his number because he's too young! The all of the people came back from their classes and our troops left. If he had asked me for my number the I would've went for it.

I was soooooo happy and in love until he told me his age.

Note to self: DON'T SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS!!!!! IF AN 8TH GRADER CAN BE THIS GOOD THEN YOU CAN FIND SOMEONE THE SAME AGE OR OLDER WHO CAN DO THIS!!!!!! MAYBE EVEN SOMEONE 1 YEAR YOUNGER!!!!!
