Meet up

(Pearl's POV)

I was still just a little pearl back then.. Not much at all, I was inside my gem. Waiting, waiting to be bought. Here in home world you are 'born' and you

die not having to worry what you should do with yourself. You have your part to play and if you don't you get your gem broken, or thrown away never to be seen

again.

Today was the beginning of my life the day were I finally have meaning.

See I'm in my gemstone, but I can't do anything.

I can see, feel, and think. Rather I'm not much other than that I had gone through all my training

and know everything I should know. I was along with a bunch of other pearl gems. We were to be picked as a personal gift to blue

diamond there were different shades of blue pearls although that was the only difference there was

Azure blue, baby blue, electric blue, sky blue. Then me... I was Maya blue. We sat there on a soft plush pillow red silk if I remember,

the gem who was selling us thought it would compliment our color and shape only the most perfect pearls for the most

perfect Diamond. Blue Diamond was addressed by her old cracked pearl that the new pearl choices had arrived "Bring them in" she said in a

calm and quiet voice. The broken pearl bowed knowing her time may soon be up, and she would be no more, but she knew this day would come eventually.

She brought in the pearls that were on the pillow and genitally handed handed them to her Diamond. "My Diamond.." She

felt her gem crack more and more each time she moved. It hurt.. she stood there to Blue Diamonds side and awaited her faith

Minutes past she sat there staring at the gems. looking first for any imperfections, finally she found one. The Electric blue gem wasn't a perfect circle.

That's when Blue Diamond crushed the gem in her hand, and threw it on the ground. She announced for all 4 remaining pearls to come

out. We all came out 1 by 1, first sky blue pearl, then baby blue pearl, me, then Azure blue. We stood

in order pulled our arms up to our chest and held our hands towards our gems, and stood there in silence waiting for the judgement. "Please,

move forward." We quickly but swiftly walked forward when all of a sudden Baby blue pearl tripped (get it baby blue

the baby tripped <3) Blue Diamond looked at her

in disgust the Baby blue pearl stood up "s-....Sorry My Diamond." Blue Diamond looked at the Old broken pearl and nodded. That's when the old pearl walked towards

Baby Blue Pearl "I'm sorry.." with that old broken pearl summoned her weapon and destroyed Baby Blue Pearl's physical form, she retreated to her gem. There was 3 gems

left including myself Blue diamond stared at us for a few minutes looking impressed with the remaining of us "Pearls, tell me. Tell me something

about your self's"

Sky Blue pearl walked forward as for she was the first on the left. "I am a Sky Blue Pearl, my speech is not good much. Although my balance and swift is as grace

as a leaf on a wind day.." She bows "Show me your weapon" Blue Diamond commanded, she did as her Diamond demanded. Her gem glowed and

she pulled out her weapon, it was

a big long moderately wide stick with a arrow head at the end. The reason this was her weapon is because gems weapons are to describe them in

some kind of way. It was a stupid old kind of weapon in fact it was almost ancient by kids standards. Although with a skilled person and practice it can be a great

weapon. "Lovely..", "NEXT." Blue Diamond commended, Then Sky Blue pearl walked forward. She stood there.

She was so nervous "MY. DIAM.. yes my diamond." she forced

herself to say. "Come forward." She walked forward closer to diamond, Blue Diamond leaned forward laid her hand down on the ground Sky blue pearl walked up onto

Blue Diamond's hand, Sky Blue pearl stood still as she was being lifted. She moved Sky blue Pearl's bangs to reveal the pearl's full face.

"You're quite cute." She

smiles at pearl. Sky Blue pearl blushed so hard her face turned purple (RED+BLUE= Purple) "Thank you My Diamond." She said with a smile. Blue Diamond put down the

pearl next to her. "Azure Pearl, come forward. I've heard much of you, no need to introduce yourself." I bowed "Thank you My Diamond."

That day Sky blue pearl and I were picked to stay as Blue Diamond and be her servants by her side and protect her.
