'Help.' Was her thought as she stared at the deadly thing in her hand. The shiny black pistol in her hand, polished ready to kill. She holds an intricate design yet simple, her curved trigger giving the wielder the power to kill.

'I'm useless, a nobody. A little bitch.' The girls thoughts rang through her mind as she inspected the gun in her hand that could end this all. The regret of stealing this form her trusting father was there but, he was always drunk so he wouldn't notice.

He won't notice when she is gone. Tears sliding down her pale checks, she is scared of death. But the Lord is all forgiving right? He has died for our sins. She is fearful of what's on the other side, but with the Lord she can do it.

But, surely killing herself is the only option left. No one wants her, no one will love her. No more plastering that phony smile on her face every day. No more having to pretend that she is alright.

'It'll be worth it, after I go to heaven to escape all this pain.' She thought a small smile playing on her lips, she hasn't had a real smile for years.

'No one cares is I go.' Was her thought as she held the gun up to her beating heart. 'It'll make all the pain go away.' She reassured herself as she pulled the metal trigger.

Long and slender, rough yet smooth. Thistle sticking out every way. He ran his hands over the rough rope. That was loosely coiled around his scared wrist.

The dark, dull, cold room greeted him frostily as his silent tears trickled down his tan cheeks. He couldn't believe that she was gone.

The girl he loved, had killed herself. Why did he never notice? He cared, but did he really?

With tears still streaming down his face, he dragged a chair under his unmoving ceiling fan. He climbed on top of the stool, his chin held high.

"Don't worry my love." The words escaped his semi frozen lips, to be meet by silences in the empty room. "We'll be together soon."

Slowly but surely, he tied the rope he gripped before around the fan. Making a noose at the end near his face. His breathe moved the dangling rope.

He tugged it gently, seeing if it will hold. He'll see his love soon. They'll be happy. It'll be worth it. The pain, for her.

He slipped the noose around his neck, fitting it snugly. It won't slip off, it'll stay.

"I love you." He stated out loud into the unforgiving room. As a smile made its way to his lips. His beloved is waiting for him.

He kicked the chair away and hung. His end is near as he failed to take his next breath. He already had his last.
