Chapter 2

     Beep! Beep! Beep!

     Hinata yawned, rolling over onto his back and rubbing his eyes. He groaned slightly, looking over to his alarm clock.

     "Shut up.." He mumbled, slamming his hand down on the 'sleep' button. He closed his eyes, pulling the covers back up to his nose and wiggling his way back into a comfy position.
..
     His eyes shot open, looking over to his clock once more. 10:45?? He was late, so so late! Hinata threw the blankets off of himself and scrambled across his room to his dresser. He cursed, struggling to stay on his feet as his socks caused him to slide against the polished wood floor.

"Shouyo, Do you want me to make you breakfast?" He heard his Mother call from down the hallway.

"No, I'll grab some toast or something on the way out!" He yelled, throwing a shirt on and rushing into the kitchen. He threw a glance to the kitchen, then to the clock and shook his head, grabbing his bag and rushing out the door.

He hopped on his bike, adjusting his bag, and wasted no time to begin pedaling. He bit his lip, increasing his pedaling speed. 

He pulled into the school and parked his bike, rushing from his bike to the building.

Thud!

Hinata groaned as he fell to the ground. He rubbed his head, staggering to get back to his feet.

"Watch where you're going, Dumbass."

Hinata sighed in irritation. The familiar voice needed no introduction, he could easily identify the gruff tone. "Yeah," He mumbled.

Kageyama offered the smaller male his hand, scoffing and looking away. "Are you okay?"

Hinata blinked, hesitantly looking at the hand extended towards him. He took ahold, dragging himself to his feet. "Thanks.." He looked up at Kageyama, surprised by the sudden act of generosity.

"What's with the weird look?" The ravenette glared, dropping Hinata's hand after seeing him safely to a standing position.

"You're.. being friendly."

"So what??"

Hinata chuckled lightly, offering a warm smile. "You're not so bad, Kageyama."
