Aidan's POV...
It only took one second for my entire world to change.
It only took one second for the car to hit the girl who I used to call my princess.
It's just after two in the morning and the machines are beeping with a constant rhythm. On the bed lies a girl who used to be one of the beautiful girls I've ever known. Most of that beauty is gone now. In its place there are scars and bruises decorating her body.
It's mostly quiet in the hospital at the moment. The only sounds coming from the machines and the sounds of my crying. People always say that a man is weak if he cries but at that moment I couldn't care less. Not when the thing that was keeping me strong is almost lost.
It was then that I decided to do anything to save the girl on the bed. It was my fault that she was there after all. I can't live without her.
But wait before that let me tell you the story of how I lost my princess...
