[y/n]'s POV

"Oi!" the annoyed voice of the arrogant kitsune called from the ground.

I shifted sides on the tree-branch,frowning."Leave me alone."I muttered.

"You're a familiar!Do you even know what that means!?You can't just sleep the whole day!" his voice grew impatient and sharp.

I didn't let myself be bothered by his tone, instead I looked up in the sky, raising my hand hand in the air, blocking the sun with it."I lost my *tasuki!" I said with a casual tone, not paying attention to the kitsune at all.

"You mean this?" I saw from the corner of my eye that he held a blueish cord between his fingers, his other hand was placed on his hip.

I turned lazily towards him, resting my head on my hand,he looked extremely annoyed.

Ugh,that's exactly why I don't like being a familiar.

"Why don't you live with me until you heal?"

I lifted my eyes from him.

No,Akemi was different,I didn't mind being her familiar. She was kind and beautiful, she never judged me,she never forced me to do anything, she always protected me from other gods and goddesses,no matter how harsh their words were. That was our biggest difference, everyone loved her, they hate me,well, that's my own fault.

"Are you even paying attention?" The kitsune's irritated voice awakened me from my thoughts.

I threw my eyes on him once more, but quiqkly turned them back on the sky.

-A few hours later-

Me and Nanami, that was the human's name, were walking down the streets of world over yonder. Why you ask?Well,I wanted to come alone,I needed *hakamas, but the huma-I'm sorry,'Nanami' decided that she wanted to come along,I wasn't happy about it of course.

I rolled my eyes, ignoring her useless chirping, seriously, are all humans that annoying?

We finally came across a hakama store,it sold kimonos and yukatas too.I stepped in,starting to pick out the ones I liked,I chose three that I liked the most,a one with (f/c) bottom and two more.

Just as I was about to pay,I realized that the hum-I MEAN NANAMI,for god's sake, anyway.

I realized that she wasn't with me,I looked around,she wasn't in the store,but as I looked outside,I spotted her,surrounded by yokai.Ughh,I suppose that's the time I have to save her,right?

I threw a small bag of coins on the wooden and bit worn out table, grabbed my gorgeous hakamas and rushed outside.

I shoved my clothes in Nanami's arms and pushed her behind myself. With a swift move I pulled out my *katana.

"You've got the nerve to mess with her?" I asked with an amused tone, raising my eyebrow, placing a hand on my hip.

"So the gossips were true? You did become a familiar?" one of the yokai's asked.

I frowned, placing my eyes on his filthy figure.I grabbed his throat, making him gasp for air."I may be  familiar, but that doesn't stop me from ripping your head off." I spat with a sharp tone.

I saw the fear gleaming in his eyes, that made me grin.I let go of him,I didn't mind killing, but not today.

Akemi never liked the idea of death, she didn't like the idea that I sometimes killed for fun, even though they were worthless yokai.

"Let's go!" I announced, leaving the shivering yokai behind me,I grabbed my clothing and marched forward,Nanami following me.

-Midday-

Nanami's POV

I was practising using white talismans inside, but the paper doors were opened,I stood up and walked on the veranda, watching how she worked.

She was wearing the hakama with (f/c) bottom part, her hair was tied up,so were her sleeves.

She looked gorgeous with her silk-like (h/l)(h/c) hair, her eyes shone a gorgeous shade of (e/c) and her skin was similar to porcelain.I even envied her a bit.She acts so toughly and meanly,I'm more than certain that she isn't actually like that.

I saw Tomoe walk to her,her face changed straight away, into a bitter one,she didn't look at him for once though, that made me grin, they didn't see to get along at all, they had to eventually.

Tomoe's POV

I checked her now and then, you could never know,a wild yokai like her.

She suddenly turned her face towards me,she wore an irritated expression.

"You don't have to check on me every 10 minutes,I won't set the garden on fire." she hissed angrily through her teeth.

"You can never be sure." I said more to myself, looking away.

"Who do you think I am?" she raised her eyebrows and stood up.

"A wild yokai." I stated with a calm tone, turning my eyes back on her.

"I am not wild, and let's not forget that you were wild too." she raised her voice as she crossed her arms, glaring at me with an arrogant expression.

I narrowed my eyebrows,I didn't like her attitude one bit.

I grabbed her collar roughly.

"Watch your tone and the way you speak brat, you're not the one who can order me around!" I said sharply, her expression didn't seem to fade though.

"I'm not the one who got left behind by his master!" she suddenly yelled.

I snapped,she went too far.

"At least my master didn't die because of me!" I yelled without thinking.

Her expression changed,I saw something change in her eyes.

Maybe I went too far.

"I-I didn't mean -"

"Let me go you idiot!" she yelled angrily and pushed me away.

I stood there, watching how she marched away, she climbed up the tree again.

[y/n]'s POV

"Stupid kitsune." I muttered, that was a sensitive topic.

I fought with tears, hugging my knees at the same time.

I reached for the necklace with a small rose pedant that I always wore under my clothing.

"Take this (y/n)."

I locked my fingers around the pedant, this was the only thing left of her.

I rested my head against the tree, looking up into the sky.

"I'm sorry Akemi."
