Oh! Oh! What's going on? I wanna know! Tell me!” Justin replied excitedly. Nathan frowned. He and Evan had been spending too much time together if he reacted like that to news.

“

I don't know if I want to now,” Nathan mumbled. Justin groaned in aggravation on the other end.

“

Come on, I'm bored. Entertain me with your problems.”

Sighing, Nathan hesitated before speaking. “Turns out, Jecklynn's a vampire.”

Justin gasped loudly, and Nathan heard a loud 'thud', along with a few swears, before Justin replied. “No way!”

“

Did...did you just fall off something?”

“

Shut the fuck up, how is she a vampire? She doesn't look like one!”

“

She's not like Varian and I,” Nathan replied. “She's a different kind.”

“

Oh Jesus, there are more of you? Kill me now.”

“

I'm offended.”

“

You should be. How dare you not call me until now.”

Nathan laughed again, shaking his head to himself. “Sorry. I was busy.”

“

Oh, I'm sure. Busy with Varian, maybe.”

“

Fuck off. You've been just as busy with Evan.”

There was silence on the other end, letting Nathan know that Justin had no comeback as he spoke again. “Speaking of Evan, out of curiosity, has he asked you to go anywhere with him?”

Justin had this really odd thing about him where he couldn't say no to someone if they asked him something. It was weird, and Nathan wasn't sure why he did it. He just...did. So, if Evan had asked him to go somewhere, Nathan had a very big hunch that Justin said yes.
