On My Own. Chap. 2.

He looked at my left leg.

Blood seeped through my skin.

I grimaced.

"Sorry." I said unconsiously.

"Why?" 

"Becuase. I wasn't paying attention. I don't exactly have anything to take my mind off stuff at home. SInce I'm.. home.. alone." I muttered sounding retarded.

"Yeah." Was all he said.

I sighed.

Wow.

I'm sighing a lot.

I sighed again.

"You okay?" Felix asked and laid a hand on my knee.

I winced.

The area was sore.

"Y-yeah... I'm fine..." I stuttered.

"We're going to the hospital." He stated.

I perked up.

I liked hospitals.

It's where peeps die.

And yeah...

Wait- what?

HOSPITAL??

"Naw. I'm fine. Really." I said quickly.

At the hospital they do background checks.

And I don't have the money to cover the taxes.

"Come on." He said.

"No Felix. I can't." I said.

"Why?" He asked stupidly.

I stared at him.

We arrived at the hospital.

He stared back at me.

"Why?" He repeated.

"I- I don't have the money to pay for it. And; they do background checks. They'll find out about my parents." I replied in a small voice.

"I'll pay." He replied.

I looked up in awe.

"You don't have to Felix." I said softly.

"I want to."

"But. What about me living alone? I'm too young." I muttered.

He grabbed my hand.

"You don't live alone." He stated.

Confusion must've been clear on my face cause he compsed himself.

"I live with you." He stated proudly and dragged me out of the car and into the hospital.
