Joey's POV
When I heard her voice i had a mini heart attack, my head shot up and i froze. I saw her reading my messages and then put my phone in her pocket. she walked closer to the water and set her phone and mine, along with someother stuff, down on the ground just out of the waves reach. When she got to the water, i jumped up without thinking and ran to grab my phone. I didn't even take 5 steps away from her things, i guess she heard me over the waves somehow. She turned around and started running towards me. I started sprinting away from her, I didn't want to explain anything to a complete stranger. I was putting a good distance between us until pain shot up my leg and I faceplanted into the sand. Why did I have to fall off of an 8 foot fence? Before I had time to get up she was right next to me practically screaming, "What do you think your doing?"
"I was just-" She cut me off
"Do you just go around stealing other people's stuff!?"
"No, if you would-" I couldn't get one word in with this girl...
"Were you watching me or something? Did you follow me?" She wasn't screaming now but she looked really ticked off.
"I did not follow you!" I said quickly. Finally, I actually said something in this conversation.
Delilah's POV
I know that voice! Why is he out here? "Why are you out here?" I blurted out without thinking
"I can't be out here?"
"Well your Jo- um, your just out really late..." That was a really stupid thing to say, i don't want him to know that I know him.
"And your not?" He laughs a little
"Well yeah," I notice him wince a bit everytime he tries to move his leg, "what happened to your leg?"
Joey's POV
Well this is gonna be awkward... i'll just ignore it, maybe she won't notice. I manage to stand up and flip my hood over my head, "Well I better be going. See you later." I start to walk off
"You never answered my question."
"Long story..."
"Fine then, toss me your phone?"
"Uh sure," I throw my phone to her and she punches in a few numbers then throws it back, "See you around."
"Bye" I hear her say my name quietly after she says bye. I smile softly and walk home, limping a little bit. I decided to text Luke after I snuck into my apartment I shared with Sawyer,
Joey: Hey, sorry i didn't reply. I know i'e been kind of a downer lately...
Luke: It's alright, everything okay?
Joey: Yeah i'm fine, tell you later :) going to bed, i haven't gotten much sleep lately.
After i finished talking to Luke, i closed my eyes and fell asleep.\

Hey guys!! I put in the the last paragraph of last chapter incase you forgot ;) Sorry I haven't updated, I haven't been able to get on and write because i don't want anyone that i know to know that i am writing this! lol I'm kind of embaressed but writing it is really fun, on paper i already have 40 pages so whenever nobody's home i will update! :P Also sorry for the constant switching of POV's i just want to show both sides of the situation.
