I watch the sun set on pain

I see the world spin on in vain

Your eyes are spinning pools of confusion,

Whirling whirling

As the story draws nearer to the conclusion

All is vanity

And all that you can see

Is the blood on my hands

The red on my ledger

But your hands have the same to bear

The broken words

Of deep despair

Your eyes see the same ink

Glaringly red

And the debt just grows

The blood that won't wash off

Permanent stains on the pages of your life

Dripping until it is everywhere
