my eyes burn as I open the windows in my apartment. I know I'm only 16 and really shouldn't be livening on my own but that is how cheap of my family is. I can't say I'm happy that I'm livening alone. I get lonely sometimes don't gudge me. I have a dog named Matt but like the hormonal teenager he is, hates me most of time. Except when I feed him. Now I know how my mother.

I know what your thinking why don't you go and find a man. Well truth is I attract the most ugliest and annoying guys. Back in high school a guy name jake had a addiction to talk to me. Sometimes I thought he goes to a therapist to control his talking. He had the ugliest shade of blond hair, horse teeth that he never brushes, and talks more than my eighth grade social studies teacher. And that is when you know it's bad. So back to what I was I walk in to my box of a bed room and go pick out my clothes for the day. I go with light blue jeans with a black and white stripes top. I head to the bath room and try to fix my jungle morning hair. I threw my brush into the sink and sigh in frustration. I look in my reflection in the mirror. My dark brown eyes had bags under them I have to cover up. My long brown hair looking like a tornado happened. I gave up so I just put a beanie on. I put on some make up to try to cover up my eyes dark bags. I put some eyeliner on with some mascara. I brush my teeth and made my way out. I grab me dark violet leather jacket and grabbed my purse. I go into my small kitchen and grabbed matts dog food. I put enough in his bowl to last him the whole day. I decided to give him some love and rub his dark brown fur. He looked at me as back-off-bitch-I'm-trying-to-eat so I just him be. I make my way to the front door and put my black vans on and grabbed my keys and left. I walk down the almost endless hallway to the elevators. I entered the elevators silently praying it doesn't stop at any floor. I enter the hobby and said a quick hi to the worker janet that has worked here ever since I moved here. I went out the front doors. The cold wind slaps me in the face, mocking me that I don't have a car. Well I do have a car but it's in the shop due to the broken window a bird ran into it. The small coffee store was just siting in the edge of the street. " Cup of joe" proudly spelled out on the bright red sign. I walk into the store smiling at the warm air. The place had the homey feeling to it. It had a bunch of couches and tables. It even had a fireplace in the middle. It's a great place to spend a cold night with some hot chocolate. I go up to the cash register and waved at Rebecca. She has worked here ever since the place opened. She is super sweet lady, in her mid 60. She is like mother to me
"May How are you sweetie?" She smiles brightly at me
"I'm fine Mrs. Jones how are you?" I grin warmly back at her.
" How many times have I told you! Call me Rebecca! And I'm wonderful thank you." She laughs.
"Fine but please tell me the food came in!" I put both of my hands together begging for her to say yes. She laughs and smiles showing off her still perfectly white teeth.
"Yes the cinnamon rolls came in dear" I did a little dance in my head and said a quiet "yes!" She goes into the back and gets the bread out for me. She hands me a brown paper bag and a coffee just how I liked it.
" It will be 3.44. And so how is Job searching going for you?" She questioned. I grabbed the money out and hand it to her.
"Well I have applied for a few jobs but haven't heard back" I frown.
"Well that is ashamed. But I may have found a job for you" she smirks.
"Wow really! Where?" I started getting excited.
"Well my nephew has 2 kids and he is looking for a nanny to help. He has a lot on his hands and since he is divorced he has no help" she says. Wow this is perfect! I'm great with kids and since I had baby's around me most of the time I know how it works (don't ask). "And since I know how hard the past has been for you maybe this will brighten your day!" She adds. She knows all about my childhood but I don't like to talk about it. I nodded my head and agreed. She gives me his number and address to contact him. I said a quick goodbye and left. I get to my apartment as soon as I can. Almost tripping over my own feet I enter my apartment. I get my phone out and dial in the number. As it rang I just thought. What if he already has a nanny. Or maybe I'm too young. Or maybe-
