Ezra rushed down the ramp of their ship the Ghost. He was fifteen with blue hair and blue eyes. He wore an orange jump suit with a matching orange vest on it. Besides the fact that he took manners from growing up on the streets, he wasn't that bad of a kid. It taught and helped him more than anything. He quickly ran to the outskirts of the city, Kothal, where he met his friend Sabine Wren.

Sabine was only a year older than Ezra. She was the artist of the crew of the Ghost. With her purple and yellow hair blending with her brown eyes, she made quiet the figure. Her artistically customized Mandalorian armor marked her as a striking rebel target for the Empire.

Ezra skidded to a stop right outside of the TTM as he asked, "Did I miss anything?"

Sabine looked up at him and told him, "You're going to have to go on this one without me. I have some things I need to take care of today."

Ezra whined at that statement, "You know how much Lani loves to see you!"

"I know, but at least she'll be seeing you today." She added while pressing buttons on the TTM's computer council. "Hop in and Abby will take you to Earth."

He jumped in the pilot's seat and looked at the cartoon character on the screen before him. Ezra smirked and ordered, "Take me to Earth, Mrs. Abby."

The cartoon girl responded immediately to Ezra, "Right away, Sir Ezra." Abby was a creation of the most intellectual creatures in the entire galaxy. Composed of memory banks that reach far and wide, Abby was the auto pilot and guide to anyone who flew the Teleporting Time Machine (TTM). Though, she, unlike other people, knew that there's more to the ship than just the title. That would all come in good time though.

They immediately blasted off to the planet Earth.

***On Earth with Lani and Caleb***

Lani was sitting beside Caleb as she read an interesting book for her English class. She was fifteen years old; just a year younger than her friend Caleb. Her blond hair and blue eyes stood out brightly compared to Caleb's brown hair and brown eyes. By a glance one might think them to be complete opposites. Lani wore long sleeve Star Wars shirts and blue jeans. Caleb wore t-shirts and khaki shorts. As different as they seemed they were very much the same.

Caleb shot an amused glance towards his friend as he asked, "You must really be into Oedipus Rex, aren't you?"

"The man killed his father, married his mother, and is the father and brother of his own children! How could that not be interesting?" She exclaimed while looking at him. "I'm so glad Mrs. Boudreaux has us doing a project on this! You should have done a fan fiction too! That would have been so cool. You and I could have worked on the same project."

He shrugged his shoulders as he explained himself, "Well, Ken and Luke really wanted me in their group. How could I refuse? You know I like helping people!"

Lani nodded her head and replied, "True and you know I do as well. It's in a Jedi's blood to-"

"Stop!" Caleb interrupted her. "You aren't going to become a Jedi. I don't care what potential Kanan says you have."

Lani nodded her head and stayed quiet as they waited for Ezra and Sabine to show up. They didn't have to wait much longer before Ezra landed the TTM in the grass in front of them.

The young Jedi didn't have to tell them anything, Lani. He just asked, "Isn't Caleb coming?"

Lani looked away and answered, "Oh, he's not coming. He's not doing a fan fiction like I am."

"Well I guess that makes it just you and me. Sabine couldn't come either." Ezra looked at her and asked, "So what's today's adventure going to be?"

Lani glanced at the book she was reading and quietly said, "Well, Caleb and I are doing a school project and I think it would be really cool to go back in time and actually meet Oedipus Rex."

Abby flicked on the screen and looked at Lani. She said, "Oedipus Rex was a fine young man. It's only too bad he had to suffer the fate he did. Would you like to travel back in time and have first-hand experience? It would help you greatly with your project."

Lani climbed in the front passenger seat and said, "Then let's go back to ancient Thebes and pay a visit to Oedipus and his family. I call dibs on guiding Oedipus through the beginning of the story!"

Abby chuckled and said, "I suppose I can take Ezra to Thebes with Queen Jocasta since you're planning on going back to when he killed his father."

The ship lurched and shot backwards in time, going to the ancient city of Thebes.

When the ship stopped Lani got out with an excited air around her. She commented, "This is definitely the right place. I will just stay and watch over Oedipus. You two get a head start and I'll meet you in Thebes."

Abby interjected her instructions by commenting, "Don't you think it would be best to dress appropriately for the time period? Such outlandish clothing might arouse unwanted attention."

Both Lani and Ezra nodded their heads at that. Abby gave them a look over before a compartment opened on the side of the ship. Within a moment, and almost like magic, Lani and Ezra were wearing ancient clothes that seemed to be what the wealthiest among people would wear in that time.

Ezra cheeks got extremely red as he shouted, "I refuse to wear a dress!"

Lani laughed at him and said, "Calm down Ezra! It's not a dress! It's a toga!" She put a hand on her hip expressing the tan outfit she now wore.

Ezra stared at Lani for a minute before muttering, "Fine... But I refuse to like this!"

Lani laughed and nodded her head to Abby and the ship blasted away to Thebes with Ezra again.
