Can I sit with you? (Tony Stark x Reader)

Reader's POV

My boyfriend of two years just broke up with me for another girl. Turns out he had been cheating on me for almost a year. I wasn't in the best of moods so decided to go to a bar to help me forget for a little while. After walking inside, I went straight for the bar. I ordered my drink and after I had a few a creepy looking guy came over to me.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing here all alone?" He slurred.

"I just wanted a drink," I replied simply. I got and walked away because he made me feel uncomfortable. He kept staring at me,and he got up to follow me. Panicking, I looked around the bar and saw a guy with dark brown hair and a goatee, he was also wearing some shades and a nice looking suit. Walking over to where he was sitting, I sat on the barstool next to him and leaned over and whispered in his ear.

"Please, can I sit with you. That guy over there is following me and he is creeping me out," I said fear evident in my voice. He looked at me, then over at the creepy guy, and he nodded. He put his arm around my waist to make it seem more believable. The guy who was following me scoffed and walked away.

"Thank you so much. What's your name?" I asked him.

"No problem, and Tony Stark, He smiled at me.

"You're Tony Stark? I'm sorry, I didn't realize," I said embarrassed. He chuckled at my comment.

"It ok, I like it when people don't recognize me all the time. What's your name?" He said.

"I'm (Y/N)," I smiled at him.

"Can I buy you a drink (Y/N)?" Tony asked me.

"Sure," I smiled and nodded. He got me another drink and we talked until we got kicked out because the bar was closing.

"Where do you live?" He asked me.

"Actually I was just going to stay in a hotel until my friend gets back in town. My boyfriend just dumped me. I lived with him, I said, I looked down still a little sensitive on the subject.

"Would you like to come to my place? You will have your own room." He offered.

"I couldn't intrude." I said shaking my head.

"You won't. I'm not taking no for an answer anyway." He said putting his arm out for me to take. I giggled and took hold of him arm. He guided me to Stark tower. He walked to the bar because it wasn't far from the tower. We got there and walked inside.

"Good evening Mr. Stark." A voice greeted, I couldn't figure out where from.

"Good evening JARVIS." Tony said looking up at the ceiling.

"Sorry. JARVIS, this is (Y/N). (Y/N) this is JARVIS. He helps run the tower." Tony told me.

"Hello (Y/N)." JARVIS greeted me.

"Hello JARVIS." I greeted.

We walked into the elevator and were taken to the top floor. Tony offered me his hand and I took it. He guided me to a room.

"This is where you can stay." He told me.

"Thank you so much." I said smiling at him.

"It's really no problem." He smiled at me.

We looked at each other for awhile before he started to lean in. I leaned in as well and our lips touched. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close. I put my arms around his neck. I felt his tongue graze my bottom lip. I opened my mouth a little bit and took the opportunity to slide his tongue in my mouth. We pulled apart from the kiss when we needed air.

"Wow." I breathed out causing Tony to chuckle.

"Wow indeed." He smirked.

"Hey, would you um, maybe want to go out to dinner with me sometime?" Tony asked me.

"I would love to Tony." I giggled.

"Great. You know if you didn't walk over to me back at the bar, I would've walked over to you and introduced myself." He told me.

"Really?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yup. I couldn't take my eyes of you, and I still can't. You're so beautiful. Your ex is stupid, but I'm glad he is, because now I get the chance to date you." He smiled.

"I'm glad he did too. You're not bad yourself Tony. Thank you again for everything." I smiled at him.

"It was my pleasure (Y/N)." He said kissing my cheek.

"Goodnight Tony." I said smiling at him.

"Goodnight (Y/N)." He said.

I walked into the bedroom and closed the door. I rested my back up against the door and thought about what happened tonight. I smiled thinking about it. I couldn't even remember why I was so sad about my loser ex anyway. Tony is not like how the news and magazines describe him. He is sweet and caring. Yes he is a little cocky but he helped a girl he didn't know and he's letting me stay in his tower so I don't have to stay in a hotel. I can't wait to get to know him more. I got into bed and smiled, thinking about the kiss we shared. I fell asleep with my thoughts.
