Chapter 31

Oh my god. I felt so guilty. I couldn't do anything about it now. I was too tired.

I woke up the next morning to Michael banging on the door. After shouting for him to go away but he wouldn't so I let him in.
"Go have a shower Rachel. I'll pick an outfit for you." He said. I nodded and walked into the bathroom with my phone. Matthew had texted me.
I'm not letting you get with Caleb.
I'm not. He asked last night I said I would think about it.
Would you be my girlfriend again?
Why would I say no? Plus Caleb is like the child of Luke and Ashton.

I walked back into my hotel room with Michael lounging on my bed with a white dress, a leather jacket, a red bandana and black converse set out on my bed. I grabbed the dress and bandana and put them on in the bathroom. I walked back out and sat down next to Michael so I could put on my boots and leather jacket. Together we went down to breakfast where everyone was waiting for us.
"Ashton, when are you teaching me drums?" I said.
"Probably around three. The sound check can take a while and so can lunch." He said.
"You two are gonna be on stage with us the whole time for the concerts." Calum said looking at me and Jack.
"Which guitar am I using?" I asked.
"You can use any but I would say the Gibson." Calum said." You can use one of mine if you want.". I nodded yes. I didn't want to use Calum's because I didn't want to break it but it was a kind offer. I went and got my food from the buffet and sat back down only to eat my food in silence.

The sound check took forever but I ended up playing drums afterwards which
made it better. Jack and I shared a dressing room with the boys. It was awkward for me but I'll get used to it. I took a photo of the stage and put it on my friends group chat. I was starting to get really nervous.
"Can we order pizza to here?" Calum asked.
"Calum, it's four in the afternoon." Jack said.
"It's part of our pre show ritual. Pizza, bandanas and having Martha on face time. Don't worry. Oh and it's all done sitting on the stage." Ashton said.
"We've done it since we went on tour with one direction." Michael said."it's a habit.".
"That long?" Jack said.
"Yep." Michael said popping the p
"Wait. You went on tour with One Direction and you never told me?"I said.
"I thought you weren't into their music." Luke said.
"I'm not but that doesn't mean I don't know who they are." I replied.
"Calm down sass queen." Calum said" what do you want on your pizza?".
"Either ham and mushrooms or pepperoni." Michael said."those are her favourites."
"How do you know?" I asked.
"It's quite easy when you ask for the same thing as Matthew used to when you were together." Michael replied.
"Actually I have news about Matthew." I said.
"What??Tell me Rachel, I ship you with him." Luke shouted.
"I'm kinda back with him." I said.
"Why?" Luke asked.
"I didn't wanna get with Caleb." I answered.
"That is amazing. Is it online official again?" Jack asked.
"No not yet." I said before moving so I could lean Michael.
"Pizza is here in twenty minutes." Calum said.
When the pizza got here we took it out on stage with all of Ashton's bandanas and the iPad. Jack and I sat whilst the band tied up the bandanas leaving four for them since Ashton and I were already wearing one. They all sat down and Jack opened the pizza boxes. Michael got Martha on FaceTime and the ritual was complete.
