I Fell For My Best Friend

Chapter 1

*Kassidys P.O.V.*
"Look mom I know you think that it is best that we get a fresh start on moving on since dad passed but do we really have to move that far away? I don't want to leave Jai. He's my best friend! I didn't even tell him we were moving.." I say leaving out a huge sigh.

Mom replies saying "yes honey, look I'm sorry. I know he is your best friend but honey I got offered my dream job in LA. I can't turn it down. Besides we need the money."

"I'm not leaving him," I start to tear up.

"Oh honey it'll be fine you will meet new friends. Maybe even a guy."

"Mom I don't want new friends. Jai is my best friend. Him and his brothers are the only friends I want and need." I then storm out of the house putting in my ear buds and walk down the street to Jais house. I walk in. "Jai! Are you home?" I then take out my ear buds.

"Oh hey Kassidy!" Luke yells. "Jai just left with Beau they'll be back in a bit." I sigh and sit next to Luke on the couch. "What's wrong?" He asks.

"My mom is making me move."

"To where?" He asks concerned.

"Los Angeles, California" I start to tear up again.

"What! Why?" He asks.

"She says it's because she wants us to get a new start and because she got a job in a recording company down there." I sob. Jai and Beau then walk through the door and I stand up and wipe the tears off of my face.

"Hey Kass!" Jai says with a big smile. He then looks concerned when he sees I was crying. "What's wrong?" He says in a soft voice.

I sob even more. "My mom is making me move to LA with her within the next month."

"What? No! Sh-she c-can't!" Jai starts to tear up.

"She is.." I whisper wrapping my arms around his waist and burying my face into his shoulder.

"You only have a month left here is Australia?" He asks as tears run down his face.

"Y-yes.." I mumble.

He sniffles. "Well I guess we will just have to make this month the best month of our lives then." He says putting a fake smile on his face. I haven't seen Jai this upset in my whole entire life.

I manage to put a fake smile on my face. "Yeah, I guess we will." I look down and realize I'm still in my pajamas. "Well I'm going to go home and get cleaned up I'll come back over when I'm done. Okay?"

"Okay." He says. I then walk home wondering about the things we will do this month. When I get home I went straight upstairs laid out my grey vans, dark blue skinny jeans a white tee shirt, a blue and grey flannel, and my favorite grey beanie. I then went and got my shower. When I got out I curled my hair and put my clothes on. I then walked back to their house. When I got there Daniel and James were both there. When Daniel saw me and got a huge smile on his face.

"Well hey there cutie."

I giggle. "Hey Daniel." Before I know it Jai comes walking in. He was wearing black vans, black jeans, a black tee shirt, and a black snap back. He looked so cute..
