Late Night Snacks

Chapter 1

"What do you suppose babies dream about?" Henry questions.
"Bull fighting"
"Laser tag"
Emma and David both say as they walk by around the room.
"That's not true!" Snow exclaims confused. " I think their joking." Henry comments with a smile. "Right" Snow sighs and walks to her bed while David says some other stuff along with Snow.
Emma turns to face Henry who had now walked over to a basket. "Okay! Chocolate, DVDs, ice crea- red wine? That's one heck of a late night snake there kid." Emma comments giving him a serious gaze not wanting her 13 year old boy to be drinking.
"It's, for my mom." Henry chuckles and Emma continues her thought. "I don't drink I'm sherif."
"My other mom." Henry says and shrugs off Emma's hand. "I googled how to get over a break up. It didn't talk about you're boyfriends wife traveling back from the past but, close enough?" Henry asks with pleading eyes to go see his mother. "That's really sweet-" suddenly Emma was cut off from the sound of a raven hitting the window. As David rushes over to the window snow takes the bird and then hands it to Henry as he comes over. "It's a message, for Henry." Snow says looking back at Emma as the bird flys away. After a long pause Henry looks up at Emma teary eyed and mumbles "She doesn't want to see me." Before Emma could reassure him he walks out the door. "David could you go confer Henry while I take his basket over to Reginas?" Emma turns around and asks. All it took was a nod and soon everyone but snow and the baby were left at the house.
