Chapter 3 SC
"Yeah." I said still sitting on the floor. I was almost killed. The boy held his hand to me. I grabbed it and pulled myself up. "I'm Justin." he said looking at me. "I'm Chris." I said smiling. God. He was gorgeous. I could feel the blood rush to my face. I introduced everyone. "This is Anthony." Justin said pointing to a tan boy with dark brown eyes and brown hair. "This is Hannah." he said pointing to a girl about my age with bleach blonde hair with a pink streak through it and teal eyes. "This is Alexys." Justin said pointing to a girl with glasses and tan skin with brown hair and green/brown eyes. "This is Lexi and Chance." Justin said pointing. You could tell they were twins. They both had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. They had the same color of skin. "Justin? Can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked him. "Yeah." he said to me while we walked to a corner."What's up?" he asked me curiously. "Um we have a really safe place to stay about 20 miles or so from here. We have to be back there in about 15 minutes. You are more then welcome to stay with us and if you are you need to talk it over with your group and then we need to go." I said trying not to sound rushed. "Yeah I will talk it over with them." he said smiling. We walked back to the rest of the group and Justin pulled the others aside. They talked for a minute or two then Justin came over and said,"Were in." "Alright get all of your stuff and we need to go now." I said.
"Alright it should be two at a time." Madison suggested. "Yeah I will go last who will go with me?" I volunteered. "I'll go last with you." Justin volunteered. Shane had a weird look on his face. The face he uses when he is jealous and is going to say something. I walked over to him and kissed him short and said,"Don't worry all I want is you." that seemed to calm him down a bit but I could still tell he was angry and jealous.
I gripped my gun really tight and it started to hurt. "Ready Madison, Blake?" they both nodded their head. "Go!" I told them. They took off running and I shot a zombie in the head. They made it to the doors. Now it was Rebecca and Michael's turn. They ran to the doors as fast as they could. Everyone had run to the doors then it was Justin and I's turn. I counted to three and we ran to the doors.
I busted through the doors and in followed Justin. We ran to the truck and as were halfway there we heard something snap. We all stopped and turned around. We could hear the moaning and groaning coming closer. I gripped my gun so tight my knuckles turned white. We all saw zombies coming around the corner. "Run!" Danielle screamed. We all ran to the truck faster than before. We got to the door where the truck was. I pushed on the door hard but it didn't budge. "It won't open!" I screamed. Michael pushed me aside hard. Any other time I would be pissed but now I didn't care. He pushed on the door and still it didn't budge. I turned to look at the zombies and they were really close. I began to shoot them in their heads. Everyone else did the same. Shane and Justin helped Michael push on the door and still it wouldn't open. The zombies were getting closer and closer by the second. I went to shoot another zombie but when I pushed the trigger it just clicked. I kept pulling the trigger but every time it just clicked. "Shit!" I said. I was out of bullets. The zombies were about two feet away and there was nowhere we could run.
