Now this town is more of a vast wasteland than anything really.If you walk , every 2 or 3 hours you may come across a few stalls of rotten fruit and vegetables, or a farm thats failing with pork and beef. If you put in some labor they may give you so.e pieces of dried meat and or slightly ripe produce.
That is if you're a traveller like James here. People call it a town cause theu know not else to call it. But James thinks of it as prison. A place he can not wai to leave. To find somewhere better and safer. A place where the sky doesn't seem to be timted brown. Where the food doesnt seem to rotten.
Of course he wouldn't think a place like that exsisted if it Great, great , great, great Granfather Ben he remembered what was pass all the waste. He knew that there was something farther than the brown tint. A sky of blue and green and purple , pink,orange. And vast hills of green.
Sadly he knew too much, oneday he vanished into thin air with no signs of him existing. Except for his book. A book of wonders that he filled the childrens head with. Is tucked safely in James satchel, never leaving his side. It's sole purpose to keep up James hope, for without hope he would tint with brown too
