"Emma, when are you coming to visit? It's been what? Two years?" My uncle Charlie spoke over the phone to me. "I know Uncle C, but I don't know if I can get off of work then." I replied and tossed my newspaper on the table.
"Please. I will fly you up here. Or pay for your gas." He tried again. I might as well take the offer.
"Okay. Fine. I will call my boss, and pack. I will there in a few days." I grinned. I am so excited to see some family again. "Awesome. Bella is wanting to see you too." He exclaimed, I guess I need to get arrangements made.
My name is Emma Jenkins. I was born a werewolf, but I was recently turned into a vampire. Technically, I am twenty-two, but I was turned when I was twenty.
"Hey, Malik. I was wondering if I could take two weeks off?" I asked my boss, I have been working at a hardware store for the past six months. "Of course. Is everything okay?" Concerned and worry was laced through in his voice, "Yes! I am just taking a family trip." I chuckled and pulled my duffle bag out of my closet.
"Okay, honey. Have fun and be careful." He hung up, and I put my phone on the dresser. I suppose I should pack, and maybe I should hunt too.
I will hunt on the way there. Maybe in Las Vegas.

After three days of driving, I am completely exhausted. I only have to hunt about once a month. I can still eat human food to keep myself going. I prefer human food to blood. Why eat a human, when pizza is in existence?
"Hey Uncle C! I am about thirty minutes away." I called Charlie once I pulled of the exit of the interstate.
"We have a big pan of spaghetti waiting on you. Bella is very happy to see another girl again." He barked out in laughter when I heard Bella yelling at him in the background.
"I will see y'all soon." I said bye and hung up.
I have a really weird feeling about this. I need to put my contacts in too! I wear one purple contact to match my other eye.
