A Little Bit of Hope

Chapter 1

JAKES POV~
YOU HAVE A MESSAGE
My phone rang over and over.

Genesis : hey. Are you gonna pick me up?
Me : what? Where are we going?
Genesis : I'm guessing you just woke up.
Me : duh. But srsly, pick you up for what?
I check the time on the clock. Oh shit, it's 7:30 class starts at 8:00!
Me : Oh, shit! Couldn't you have message me earlier?!
Genesis : I'm not an alarm clock FYI. Il, be waiting outside, don't be late because I don't wanna be late!

I turned off my phone and packed al, my stuff before taking shower. I brushed my teeth and got out from the bathroom. 7:40. "Oh crap!"

I wore my white polo and wore some black pants. I actually looked cute. Ugh stop! I need to get to school. I combed my brown hair and fixed it to the side.

"mom?" I opened her bedroom door. She was still asleep, she looked peaceful sleeping so I just kissed her forehead goodbye and left a note.

I grabbed the car keys and left home.

GENESIS' POV~
Ugh, he woke up late again. As always.

While waiting for Jake I put on a maroon ribbon that matched my white dress and brown wavy hair "dang I look cool!" My older brother laughed "ha, as if!" "Ben! I told you to knock!" I stormed out of my room embarrassed and waited for Jake in our front porch.

"Bye honey!" My parents said in unison and kissed me goodbye "you look great darling!" My mom said as she entered the house leaving me by myself outside.

HONK HONK

Thank God he finally arrived!

I hopped in the car "you look nice.." He said staring at the road "no need to say it!" I flipped my hair as he rolled his eyes smiling. "But you really do!" He looked gazed at my eyes and looked back at the road. "Thanks!" I smiled back blushing a bit.

We finally arrived at Parker University. As we entered the hallways eyes were on us, you could say Jake and I were a bit popular.

"Hey man!" Jake's friend Ben Dalton hugged him, "hey Genesis," he winked at me "looking good." Jake punched Ben's arm as he noticed that Ben was checking me out. "Protective much?" He raised his hands in defeat and chuckled.

"Babe!" It was my boyfriend, Alex Carter, I don't know why but Alex and Jake always has this death glare when they see each other. "Hey Alex!" I kissed his cheek, he suddenly kissed me, but he was staring at Jake. Was he making Jake jealous?

Jake gave me a weak smile as I looked at him and said "ill be going to class, I'll catch up with you later." Alex smirked as Jake left. "What was that about?" I asked Alex as I crossed my arms "babe, oh nothing... You going over to my house later?" I rolled my eyes but not showing him "yeah sure whatever..." I pushed him and left.
