The cart was pushed down the corridor passing by numbered doors. Suddenly the fast paced wheels stopped and stayed still as time ran on. Number thirteen in bold black lettering stood out.
A hairy hand grabbed a plate that had a bowl of oatmeal, toast, and bacon. The other hand grabbed a baby proof bottle filled with organic orange juice after opening the door.
The old nurse saw Dottie. Dottie stared expressionless. Dottie never blinked while the man in his mid forties placed the food and drink at its respectful place on the bed.
Dottie waited for the man to leave. Dottie's nose sniffed as the aroma smell of the food wafted into the stale bitter room and attacked her sensitive nose mercilessly.
A loud roar rumbled in Dottie's stomach. Dottie knew the thing was hungry. Dottie slowly rose to the neat organized bed.
Sitting crisscross Dottie decided to go for the bland food first so that after she ate she could only taste the delicious stuff.
An hour passed by and Dottie drank the last drop of juice just as the door was opened. Dottie looked up at the new now more familiar color. Bright blue enclosed then nurses body. Dottie grew happy. Dottie knew what the blue nurses meant. Dottie would play with bubbles once again. Dottie couldn't be any happier unless she saw more color or the man other than that she was happy to play with the blue nurses once again.
