Part 10

Alex's P.O.V:

We sit on the swings in silence.

"I wonder what he's going to tell me...." I think to myself

looking over at him I see that he's staring at me! I feel my face heating up.

"Why am I blushing?!?!?!?!"

Daniel smirks at me, but it quickly falls and turns into a frown.

"I still want to tell you why I'm a jerk to you." he says taking a deep breath.

"Ok..." I reply quietly

"So, umm I don't want you to freak out, but were soul mates. Derrick and Simon are soul mates, and so are Dusk and Max.

I Freeze, Daniel is my soul mate!?!?!?!

He continues on "So, we got violent because we've been pushing our soul mates away from ourselves. Since we've been doing this since before you have come here. Dusk, and Derrick have gotten jealous when others got near Max, and Simon so they started to bully them. I wasn't interested in being mean to them, until you came. I'm kind of overprotective, but I let my anger take over, but I'm getting too aggressive and I wanted to know if you could forgive us?"

"Umm let me think for a second." I whisper

~B: brain, H: heart , 

B: No way, this cant be real! It must be a cruel joke!

H: But his explanation explains everything...

B: Yes, but what about the note? and why he confessing now? and why does he suddenly feel like this?

H: It could be because he doesn't want to be a monster anymore...

B: Ha, yah right he doesn't care about us, or anything, except maybe his friends...

H: You never know what people can do if they care

B: Ya, care about his own life and himself

H: Lets give him one chance to prove himself...

B: Fine, but if he messes this up, then its over. Deal?

H: Deal!

I look over at him and see a small hope in his eyes. I feel like my heart is breaking at the sight.

"Ok, Ill give you a chance, but if you do anything bad again, then you'll never be forgiven." I say

He jumps off the swing and gives me a hug. It is so comforting I hug him back and snuggle into him.

"Thank you!!!" he said

"We should tell the others!" I pull away from the hug suddenly realizing what Daniel said

"We cant..." he says looking down at me

"Why not???" I ask confused

"Because they want to do it themselves, and I promised not to do anything." he replies sadly

"Ok, fine I wont say anything then.... but do you know if Dusk is going to meet Max at the old music room tonight?" I asked remembering why I went out originally

"Ya, he was why do you ask?"

"Well, I could probably separate Simon from Max, so Dusk can talk to him alone. Then if you get Derrick to come I could tell Simon to wait somewhere and they could talk alone together!" I say getting excited that this plan might work

"But I promised-" he tried to say

"Its not breaking your promise if I'm the one trying to help." I cut him off 

"Pleeeaasseee"  I say while  looking at him giving my best puppy dog eyes

"Ok, fine but if anything goes wrong you cant blame me!" he said giving up arguing

I jumped up giving him another hug. He laughed and pulled out his phone. I moved away from him and sat on a swing again. I pull out my phone and look at the time.  My eyes widen its 11:50  we need to go quickly if we want the plan to work.

Daniel ends the call and looks at me.

"We need to go now if we want to make it in time." I say getting up

"Ok." he says picking me up bridal style

"W-w-what a-are y-you d-doing!" I say getting flustered and trying to get out of his arms

"I'm carrying you so we can get there faster." he says smirking at me

"Fine, but don't drop me... please.." I say calming down

"Don't worry I wouldn't drop you." he says as he starts to run.

Sorry for the short chapter, but the next one will be longer! So what do you think of it so far? Any opinions  on who is your fave couple so far??? xD  anyway have a good day/night/afternoon and talk to you all later :D
