A Change

Chap. 1

"Dani wake up!" Yelled my little sister.

My little sister's name is Ava. She is 7 and cannot wait for her first day of school. I ,on the other hand, am not looking forward to school.
My little sister grabs my giant Snorlax (Pokemon) stuffed animal and starts to hit me.
"Okay, okay. I'm awake," I say surrendering.
"I'm not leaving until you get out of bed", she says while getting off of my bed.

I pull off the covers and get hit by the cold air in my room. I set both feet in the ground before attempting to stand up. I did it! I stood up!

"You can leave now Ava", I say.
She leaves and I begin to plan my outfit.
Pretty or comfortable?

Comfortable.

I take a 'My Chemical Romance' shirt and pick out a pair of ripped, dark wash jeans. I go to the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth.

I get dressed and take my phone off the charger to check the time.

7:26

My bus gets here 7:30!

I grab my bag and rush out my room.

"Morning, hun", said Laura

"Morning Laura! I gotta go!", I said

Laura is my adoptive mom. My parents left me when I was 5. I don't remember them. I heard they didn't have enough money to care for me.

I run and catch my bus. As soon as I get on I hear the typical whispers a new girl would hear. I walk to the back of the bus.

I watch as another girl gets on the bus. She has dark purplish blue hair with half of her head shaved. She's wearing a black veil brides shirt, jeans, and combat boots. She's heading to the back.

"Hey", she says with a surprisingly high pitched, cheery voice." I'm Marie."

"Danielle, but you can call me Dani."
People started getting off the bus so Marie and I got off.

"I have to stop at the office. Catch ya later." I tell her

I head to the office to get all of my stuff. The office was the first room I saw.
"Danielle Gage", I said
"Here is your schedule, map of the school, and a notebook to record some first day notes.", she says
I get my map out and start to look at it while walking . I start to look down at my feet but still glancing up a little.
A tall figure bumps into me knocking me and my stuff down. I pick up my stuff and stand up.

"Hey leather jacket!", I say catching the attention of the figure that bumped into me." Maybe you should try and learn some manners."
The tall figure turns around. I'm in awe by his looks. Bright blue eyes and brown hair brushed in an upward side motion.
"Excuse me?", he asked
"What?"
"Do you know who I am? Do you know the role I play here?", he questioned
"Let. Me. Guess. You're the school's bad boy that thinks he's all that. You're a player that takes advantage of every girl you can get.", I say

His eyes widen in shock.
"Wow. I'm impressed. Pierce Cannings nice to meet you.", Pierce says
"Dani Gage", I say
"So I'll see you later?", he asks
"I guess"
"Bye", he says
"See ya", I say back
