The Summer in the RV

We pull up to a sign that says The Bad Lands. Dad pulls the RV over and we all get out. We all get in front of the sign so that you can still see the words. Mom uses her selfie stick to snap a picture of us we pose cheesy smiles me holding up prim .

After we take a couple more photos I look around at all the rocky slopes and smooth ones a rugged beauty of it. Earlier on in the rv I search up facts about it and pick up one about fossils I'm searching around when I notice another family Looking round there mother and father sat back at they're van whilst 3 boys search the rocky terrain the youngest around my age ashy blonde hair and I can just make out the clearest ocean blue eyes you could get lost in then 2 older brothers almost mirror images of each other. Prim and addie join me by my side and I notice the younger blondie walk over to us he stops at my feet, 'I couldn't help but see you staring' he says with a grin, 'don't flatter yourself' I reply smirking, 'your funny I'm Peeta by the way Peeta Mellark' my smirk turns into a smile , 'nice to meet you Peeta I'm Katniss Everdeen' I feel a nudge on my side and turn to reveal Addie oh I forgot them, 'This is Addie and Prim my little sisters' I introduce them  and Peeta kneels down so he is level with Addie and reaches out for a hand shake she shakes hands with him lady like and he says, 'Very polite Addie' in a posh accent which causes her to giggle wow how is he this good with kids, next he faces prim and gives her a walm smile 'you must be prim I must say your cute' prim rushes up to Peeta and cuddles him I try to get her off but he just tells me it's ok. When prim pulls of Peeta she starts to laugh with Addie and I see 2 boys walk up to Peeta behind him and pushes his back which causes him to jump they fall into fits of laughter which sets everyone off but Peeta, 'very funny guys' he remarks the two boys smirk at each other and then turn to me, 'ay Peeta care to introduce?'
'No' he jokes. I go forward and introduce myself to them 'I'm Katniss and this is Addie and prim'
'Hey there guys I'm Phillip the oldest'
Says the one with slightly darker hair
'And I'm rye the coolest' smirks who I presume as rye 'yeah yeah' Peeta speaks up .
Phillip hands Peeta something and whispers something in his ear Peeta then turns back to us and says pulling out the object, 'care for some bread' I realise the object is tanned bread freshly cooked and wrapped inside packaging labelled Mellarks Bakery
Prim jumps up in delight it seems hours since we've eaten, ' So you own a bakery' I ask the boys nod and Phillip says, 'family business doing it for years now we all know how too cook Peeta here is quite the froster' Peeta nods his head in agreement.

We talk for what seems ages Phillip and Rye go back to playing rugby what I see as abit stupid with all the sharp edges and Peeta and I sit and chat watching the Orange sunset, 'My favorite colour' Peeta speaks up, 'oh really'
'Yep' he says popping the p
'That's nice you know I've had a great day today' I reply which brings a grin to his face
'You wanna know something else Kat'
I nod and stare into his ocean blue eyes getting lost,
'Even though we just met i feel a connection I hope we see each other again' he says and and fiddles with his fingers,
'So do I' as I say it his eyes open wide like he's surprised I do too but I can feel abit of chemistry.
We hear a distant call of a women's voice and Peeta speaks, 'that's my mother I best be going'
I nod kind of sad he has to go but I don't show it,
'I hope we meet again'
'Goodbye Peeta'
'Goodbye Katniss'
He strolls of into the distance and gives one last turn to wave I return it with a smile.
Whilst walking back to the RV I realise I didn't get his number or anything now all I have to rely on is fait i also realise something else
I really do hope we meet again me and the boy with the bread ......
