Have I ever told you
about this boy?
This . . . 5 feet 11,
brown-eyed boy
with a constellation
in his mind?
Maybe not.
The thing is, I have never
met a boy quite like this.
Perhaps,
for a certain period of time,
I thought he only
existed in my mind.
Was it love at first sight?
I guess,
people would say that.
(though I don't fancy the way it sounds.)
Let's just settle with plain attraction.
After all, he was hella tall,
wearing a red jersey of his favourite
football club.
Quite difficult, it was, to not
notice such striking colour.
Love, after all,
is a strange concept to me.
