Let's Call it Love:Chapter 9 The Unexpected Outing

"I'm just going to sleep all day."

"Ah okay, we'll see you the next day."

I closed my phone and slept.

"Wake up!" I heard Janelle's voice.

I yawned, "What are you doing here?"

"Well everyone is in here," she said.

I instantly opened my eyes to find everyone standing there looking at me in fascination. Dalton, Jace, Chase, Megan, Zale and Janelle were there. Royce came into my bed and hugged me. I blushed. I'm still on my pajama clothes.

"Why did you let them in?" I whispered in his ear.

"They wanted to come in so I let them," he answered. His answer wasn't reasonable. I ruffled his hair.

"Don't do that when it's strangers," I warned him.

I was wearing a gray tank top and blue denim short shorts. Now I feel awkward. I hid my body with my covers. Zale came running into me, hugging me tightly. I felt uneasy.

"What are you doing? She's my girlfriend," Jace said protectively.

Jace came and hugged me, giving me a peck in the cheek. He stayed by my side making Zale go with the rest.

"Is there some kind of occasion that I don't know about?" I asked them, looking at all of them.

"Nope, we just decided to go to the beach today. We all got excused from school," Chase explained.

I groaned, "You guys go by yourself?" I asked hoping for a chance to escape.

They shook their heads.

"We want you to come," Megan said.

Seeing as none of them move an inch, I agreed.

"Fine. Well I'm going to dress up."

I got up and walked to my closet, went to the bathroom to changed into my bikini top which was just plain black, but not my bikini. I just felt awkward. I decided to keep on my short shorts. I didn't want to show some skin so I put on a white baggy jacket for cover.

I went out to be met with many eyes.

"Let's go!" Janelle said dragging me out of my room. On the way, while dragging me out, I yanked my flip flops from the shoes place.

Janelle, Megan, and I took Janelle's car. Dalton, Chase, Zale, and Jace took his car. We drove off to a beach.

We arrived there with Janelle's crazy driving and beat the boys by a few seconds. We parked and got out.

Even in there, the Perfections got special treatments. There were five Chaise Chairs laid out. I saw Janelle grab Dalton's hand and made him sit in one of the chairs.

I sat in one of the chairs and got sunscreen out of the bag that Jan (Janelle) and Megan packed me while I sleeping.

I began to wipe sunscreen on my arms as I opened my jacket a bit. I struggled to get sunscreen on my back but I couldn't reach it.

"Want me to put sunscreen on your back?" Jace asked me, sitting down in the other chair on the back of me.

"If you don't mind," I said awkwardly. Well I couldn't do it myself.

He began to put sunscreen and I felt his hand on my back, it was warm like that day when he locked our hands in place. The cool breeze touched my skin and I shivered. He finished and smiled at me.
