Tormented

Chapter 3

Its been about a week now,and im laying on my bed just looking at the ceiling bored out of my mind.

My phone goes off and i dance around my room to "glad you came" while looking for it.

I looked at the caller Id,it was allison,

"hey"i say

"hi.how are the woods?"she asks

I laugh,"oh,you know...so amazing!" I plop back down on my bed.

"are you serious?"

"no.that was complete sarcasm"i laugh,

"Oh! Good"

"ally i miss you!"i sigh

"i miss you too! Things arent the same around hete anymore.I feel lost"

"ditto"i reply.

Its only june,so i dont have to worry about school yet.

Thats the only plus side to this move,i throw on some white shorts and a thin blue hooded sweatshirt and some blue vans.

I decide to go to the park,nothing better to do.

My dad went to some town about an hour away to shop.

He asked if i wanted to come along but i didnt feel like going anywhere far today.

Dad has been out and about numerous of times,like seriously if he was gonna leave me alone all the time he could of asked allison to move here with us.

As im walking towards the entrance of the park when i see a little boy or what i think was a little boy slowly swinging on the swings,he's looking dead at me.

"yo nicole!"i heard someone yell,i turn my head and see eric,he's with two other guys and their throwing a football around.

He waves,motioning me to come over to him.

I hesitate and then nod and walk over to him.

"whats up sarasota?"he says,

Sarasota? Great i already have a nickname.

"Hi"i say,the football is flying right towards my face when eric jumps up and grabs it before it hits me,i just back.

"woah! Thats a close one!"he says,and then throws the football back to his 'buddy'.

"good thing i was here to save you"he winks at me,my face turns red and i look down at my shoes embarressed.

"yeah,thanks"i say,"wanna get something to eat?"he asks me,

"sure"i reply,i was pretty hungry.

"okay,im gonna go now guys,see ya later!"he yells to his friends.

Wait...he's not bringing them along?

Oh great,im totally gonna ruin this.

I turn back to the swings only to find the swing completely empty,just moving by itself.

eric walks beside me and we walk down at street ive never been on.

It has a daycare,a gas station,and a restaurant at the end.

He opens the door for me and i follow him to a booth in the back,

I sit across from him awkwardly.

"so,you used to the town yet?"he asked me while looking at the menu.

"not really"i say then looked at menu for a while.

The have a simple menu like burgers,fries,fried chicken,chicken fingers,hot wings,and milkshakes,etc.
