Was another cloudy dark night, a slight breeze pushed its way past the white curtains and through the room. Dan felt a chill on his pale white skin. Dan was 6.3 and weighed close to 160 pounds. Most of those pounds were strict muscle, Dan had brown silk like hair that ran down to his neck, his hair had a shine that made heads turn. His eyes were a nice shaded green and lips that were pinkish. Dan took a step and bumped into his coffee table which was brown and had cat like bottoms. He cursed out loud and moved the table aside, he looked out side to see the regular people. Mrs. Watson walking her annoying poodle with a pink bow. Mr. Paterson with his 6 year old girl walking in the park. The park had looked gloomy and foggy from the window but that's what gave it it's beautiful look. He could hear in the distance his classmates partying loudly. Finals were over but Dan had decided not to celebrate by getting drunk off his ass and instead drink a little bit of beer and watch the game. As he closed the window the door bell rang making Dan jump. He walked to the door and looking through the hole he could see Mr. Paterson with his daughter. Unlocking the door and swinging it open he said nicely and quickly "Hi, how can I help on this fine evening? " Mr. Paterson responded lightly "my daughter has to go to the little girls room, would you mind letting her go?" Dan looked down at the 6 year old girl and smiled "of course"
"Go ahead Rebecca" Dan walked her to the rest room and closed the door. "Want a beer?" Dan asked
"I'm okay but thanks" Paterson said
Dan grabbed a fresh one from the fridge and popped it open. "Chilly out there?" Dan asked curiously taking a sip from his beer. "Not to bad" Paterson lightly exerted. "How's your girl doing?"
"She got the flu" Dan rolled his eyes
"It's around every where now huh?" Paterson asked. "I think so" Dan said not knowing for sure. Rebecca walked out and put her jacket on. "Let's go daddy" She said. "Okay pumpkin, hey thanks Dan" Dan shook Patersons hand and walked them out. "Have a good one" Dan called out. Closing the wooden door he sat back down and began to finish his pizza. Dan awoke the next morning to pizza crust on his chest. He got up and rubbed his eyes, slowly picking out the eye crusts and flicking them away. He sat up slowly and woozy, getting up he felt light headed, sick and tired. Walking into his bathroom Dan looked at his messy hair and bags under his eyes. "God I look like a zombie" he mumbled. Dan turned the tap on and threw water onto his face, turning it off he walked down the hallway into his small kitchen. The kitchen consisted of a stove, mini fridge, a very small table, and some average kitchen appliances. He grabbed some bread from the cabinet over the stove and pushed them into the toaster. Walking to his bedroom he looked for a new shirt and some new cloths. He managed to find a pair of ripped up blue jeans and a black shirt. He grabbed a fresh pair of socks and sitting on his bed he took off the old pair and put on the new pair. He grabbed a grey hoody and heard the toast pop up. Walking back to the kitchen there was a soft knock on the door. Dan walked to the door and opened it quickly, frightening the unexpected cookie sale girl. "Would you like some cookies?" The 12-13 year old girl asked. "I'd love some cookies, what ya got?" "Well..." She bagan, "we have chocolate chip, mint, penut butter, and plain" Dan smelled the toast and responded quickly "just two box's of the chocolate chip cookies please" She smiled and ran down to her red cart filled with box's of cookies. Coming back with 2 little green boxs she handed Dan the box and he grabbed his brown leather wallet from his back pocket. He proceeded to grab the box and he handed her the money. "Thank you" She giggled and ran off. "Thank you" Dan smirked, grabbing a cookie and devouring it he put the cookies into the cubby. Reaching for some toast he burned his hand on the hot metal cursing out loud. Dan turned the tap on and ran his hand under it cringing.
