Dean waited by the fence for Cheer practice to get out. He was trying to
Decide which girl to ask out when he saw her..or um...him, I should say. Dean spotted Cas and instantly had to have him.

Twenty minutes later Cas was walking out the gate after practice. Dean saunter over to him

"Hey" Dean said "I'm Dean"

"I'm aware" Cas clenched his jaw, not angrily though. Almost as if he was bitting back something.

"Hi aware are you doing anything tonight?" Dean joked finding the perfect time to ask Cas out.

Cas laughed a little at the joke and then looked at Dean

"you serious about?" He questioned, taken back. He definitely liked Dean, but its not like Dean knew him that well..or at all.

"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't" Dean gestured to the school grounds.

The wind picked up and Cas shivered. Dean pulled off his wrestling leterman jacket and wrapped it around Cas, all he had on now was a white dress shirt.

Cas smiled "then yeah I'm free"

"Great pick you up at 7?" Dean asked

Cas nodded and wrote his name and address on a piece of paper for Dean

"See you," Dean stopped and looked down at the paper cas handed him, he smiled sheepishly "Castiel."

Later that night Dean picked up cas in his 1950 Chevy impala and drove them to his Aunt Ellens fancy diner.

"Hello Dean" Ellen greeted then when they walked in "Dean whos your friend?"

" This is Castiel" Dean introduced Cas

"Cas" Cas smiled and shook Ellens hand

"What do you boys want?" Ellen smiled

"Two milk shakes?" Dean raised an eyebrow at Cas, who nodded back.

"Strawberry, please" Cas informed Ellen

"That's Deans favorite" Ellen half laughed when she noticed Dean blushed. Deans family already knew he was Bi, as for every one else...they were in the dark.

3 minutes later Ellen brought the two milk shakes over to the the booth Dean and Cas sat at

"Thank you" they both said in illusion

Once Ellen walked away Dean smiled at Cas "So Cas you seem to know everything about me,tell me about yourself"

Cas took a sip of his milkshake

"Well first off this is the best milk shake over every had" He laughed "and what do you want to know"

"Tell me about you life, I don't know" Dean said sipping his shake as well.

"Well I had a normal childhood,we weren't poor, but we weren't wealthy either. Middle class I would say. Middle school came around I started hanging out with the cheerleaders, joined the cheer team. They were the first ones to know that I was gay, well the only ones actually. I dated a few of them to make my homophobic parents happy. Freshmen year was a mess, my parents found out I was gay. They tried to pull me off of the cheering team, but in the end they just disowned me and I lived with two of the girls, Carling and her younger sister Lillian, until last year when I moved into an apartment. Now it's senior year it's as normal as its gonna be and the most recent thing that's happened to me is the biggest prep in school just took me out on a date." Cas summarized.

"Sounds like a roller coaster" Dean smiled apologetically

"Eh, if none of that happened I wouldn't have ended up here" Cas smiled cutely at Dean who in turn blushed

" Yeah I guess not".
