The following morning, my mom went out to buy groceries to prepare for tonight's dinner. She came in my room to wake me up at promptly nine-thirty A.M, explaining to me that she wants me ready by the time she comes home. She pulls up my curtains and opens the window, letting in the harsh sunlight.

"What? You won't be home until, like, six." I whine. But she wasn't having it.

"Don't you sass me, mister. Now, get up. I don't want to find you here when I get home. Clean the house a bit, and your room. Matty is going to be in here." She tells me, walking out after. She didn't even bother closing the door, so I didn't bother hiding my irritated groan.

I heard the door slam shut after a few minutes. "Don't slam the door," I mimicked her from yesterday. I sigh, relaxing into my bed once again.

She can be so annoying to me, sometimes. Normally, I wouldn't be saying these things, but I see her every freaking second of the day. After awhile, it does get annoying.

I decided to stay in bed for a little while longer, but I guess a little while longer had turned into a lot while longer, because then there was a knock on the front door.

"Oh, fuck." I curse before jumping out of bed. I had to make it look like I was already up, but in the end, I didn't bother with it.

Then, there were two more knocks, a bit harsher this time.

"Mom, did you forget your keys again?" I groane, loud enough for her to hear me. I was halfway down the stairs, rushing to get down.

However, when I open the door, it's not my mom standing there. It was the person I least expected. Well, not really.

It was Vic. And I still didn't have a shirt on.

I scream in surprise before slamming the door close and flinching away from it. What the fuck have I just done! I just slammed the door on my super hot, young neighbor! What is wrong with me!?

"Um, not your mom." I heard Vic chuckle from the other side of the door. "Hello?" He said, knocking on the door more tentatively.

"Yeah?" I call out from my side of the door, not opening it.

"Are you gonna open the door?" He asks me. I could hear the amusement seeping into his words, which only made me flush in embarrassment.

"Yeah." I told him, not moving from my position.

"Are you gonna open the door right now?" He asked again, more specifically.

"Yeah." I said with a defeated sigh. I opened the door, a slight breeze coming through causing me to shiver as I stared at Vic with red cheeks.

He glances at my shirtless body, stepping back a bit to look over my entire body. At least, that's what I think he was doing.

I felt my nipples go hard from the cold weather outside as I shifted uncomfortably under his gaze. But, then the most horrible thing happened.

He noticed. His eyes had drifted upwards when they stopped on my white-as-fuck chest, it would probably be sparkling if I were Edward Cullen.

I wanted to scream again and slam the door in his face because of my embarrassment. I've met this guy for less than 24 hours and I already don't know what to do with myself.

I clear my throat with a fake cough to bring his attention back to my face, then I crossed my arms over my chest.

His eyes snap up, and he gave me a small smirk upon noticing my flustered expression. "Oh yeah, I just came by to drop off the plate. Tell your mom the brownies were amazing." The smirk still didn't leave his face when I grabbed the plate from his hands.
