Bodies were dropping in their houses, on the bus, at school, everywhere but the places that made sense. No one was murdering them, for there were plenty of witnesses.
They all just dropped. Then the Sheriff's daughter dropped, and madness incurred.
They called it the Drop. It became a bedtime horror story to get children to do their chores and eat their vegetables. "You don't want to get the Drop, do you?"
Years later, and the Drop became a myth. Of course it wasn't real, something like that couldn't be possible. It was a supernatural bedtime story for centuries and centuries.
Fast forward to today. Now, music is one of the greatest tool for someone wanting to express himself.
But don't listen to that one song, the one that everyone listened to back then. Because back then, you could only listen to it once. After that, you could no longer hear. In fact, you could no longer do anything.
Because you just dropped dead.
