Meet Summer. She is 16 and she likes to stay in and watch TV and read books. She doesn't like to go out because she is scared of what is out there, but she has never seen it for herself. This is because she is scared to look. Summer sleeps for an hour each day if she is lucky because she never likes to close her eyes. She thinks that her dreams, whether they are good or bad, will come true.
She once had a dream that her mum had passed away due to her actions. The only thing is her mum actually died a week after this dream. Now she just hides away, never closes her eyes but also never likes to look at reality in a way that everyone else does. She likes to write down her thoughts to calm her and help her to realise who she really is. Summer doesnt really know but she is trying so hard to figure it out.
Her eyes have become a pale grey after she thinks about her mother. Her lips turn dark blue. Her body freezes and cracks at the first thought of her mothers face when she died. Her hands shake. Her legs tremor. Her whole face stares at nothing until she can breathe again. Her throat stops her from shouting. Her mouth stops her from yelling for help...
