Chapter 1: Prologue

"How is he doing Stryker? You know our son's very powerful already, why inject him with Adamantium now?" Henry asked, as he watched his old friend test another new experiment that himself and his wife had already survived. "Daniel's already been injected now he's just recovering from it all. Henry your son has unlimited potential, it's just waiting to be discovered an tapped into." General Stryker replied, letting his old friend know that his son was doing just fine. They both watched the boy in the tank stir, he had jet black hair with crimson red spikes, even though his eyes were closed they both knew that he had hazel eyes, he was 5 foot 9 inches tall, an had a well defined muscular body including a six pack set of abs. "Henry, is he awake yet? I need to bind his powers immediately. We all know what happens if he's left unbound." Serenity Akiza asked, reminding him that their son wasn't like normal mutants. "You're right dear, but we should do now while he's out. I suggest we do it now, unless you want to see your staff get killed Stryker. Daniel's lost control before and millions of innocent people payer the price because of it." Henry explained to his old friend. "Alright Henry, Serenity do it now before he regains consciousness."General Stryker explained , agreeing with his old friends. The emergency alarm began to go off just as Serenity had nearly finished binding her son's dormant powers. "Serenity! Henry! You two need to take Daniel and leave, I'll contact you both when it's safe!" General Stryker explained to his old friends. Daniel woke up and burst out of the tank he had undergone the Adamantium surgery in. A rage filled cry echoed throughout the entire facility, as Daniel's newly transformed Adamantium claws from his knuckles and fingernails. Stryker! I'm going to kill you, you're not going to experiment on anyone else you bastard!" Daniel yelled, as he began to kill people out of pure rage. He didn't see his dad trying to calm him down by trying to restrain him from behind. "Daniel NO! That's your-" Serenity yelled, just as she was about to say "father" Daniel plunged his claws into the man behind him. Serenity watched in horror as her only son killed his father and her beloved husband. "Serenity, we've got to go now before he kills us too!" Stryker explained, pleading her down the hall that led to his private helicopter. Tears streamed down her face as Serenity fled with Stryker taking one last look at her son. "Daniel... Please forgive me. We'll meet again someday I promise you that." Serenity promised, leaving her son in the hands of fate.
