Ender and I had just gotten back from our honeymoon. Our cute little house just screamed welcome. Ender smiled and held my hoof as we walked inside. We both collapsed on the king sized bed in our room.

"Welcome home, kitten," he said as he kissed my cheek.

I giggled and wrapped my hooves around his neck. We had just gotten comfortable when Ender's phone buzzed. He sighed and picked it up.

"It's the office," he groaned. "They say I'm needed for the new building"

"Aww, don't go!" I begged.

"Sorry, baby," he told me as he got up. "But I don't want to get fired,"

He gave me a kiss and left. It baffled me how he got a job as an architect.

It hadn't been more than an hour when the door bell rang. I got up, confused, and answered it. It was Dee-Dee, a worried look in her crimson eyes.

"Hey, Kitty," she half smiled. "Glad to see your back,"

"Dee, what's wrong? What happened?"

She knit her eyebrows and stared at the floor.

"I-It's about Hero,"

"What?!" I asked, my mind racing. "What did he do?"

"No, no! It's not like that!" She told me. "No, he wouldn't do anything,"

"Than what?"

She bit her lip. "I found out last week," she sighed.

I couldn't take the suspense.

"I'm, expecting," she squeaked.

I blinked.

"Like, a foal?" I asked.

Dee nodded.

"Does Hero know?"

She shook her head as tears ran down her cheeks.

"I don't know how to tell him!" She cried as she hugged me. "I mean, he's a king, a deity! I just don't know if he can raise a foal,"

I stood there, shocked. She was a blubbering mess, nothing like her usual self.

"I'm sure he'll be thrilled," I said, trying to cheer her up. "Just tell him,"

She looked up at me. "Really?" She sniffed.

"Positive,"

She smiled and wiped her eyes. Red streaks showed where the water burned her. I bit my lip as I watched her go out the door. I wasn't sure how Hero was going to react, I just hoped he wasn't going to go rough on her.
