Shortly after the three trucks swerved off to the neareat exit on the highway, leaving me to continue my route to the airport. I just hope that Edgar's men wouldn't give me anymore problems.

August

I stood at the window in Sky's hospital room as I stared at the clouds. They were dark and fog surrounded them. I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach and I didn't know why but it had me scared.

I was scared of the unknown and what was to come out of everything that's been happening. Here I am, useless again and unable to protect my family. A nigga is never prepared for shit like this and I can't unda'stand why shit continues to go bad.

I went over to Sky's bed and grabbed ha' hand then began talking to ha'.

"You know you've always been a bomb ass sista' to me right? Always. Tha' docta' say that you can hea' us when we talkin' to you even know you inna' coma'. Cash ain't doin' too good and I'on know when they gon' lemme' see him."

I'on know why but I immediately broke down. Everything was getting to me all at once and I didn't know what to do.

"What ima' do sis? They got my son. You and Cash down bad and Natasha...she slowly drifting inna' dark state. She say she coo' but I can see right through ha'."

"I need you and Cash ta' pull thru.Rememba' all the shit we been thru' sis. The four of us. We made it through this shit once, we can do it again. We all we got."

All of a sudden the monitors started going crazy and Sky's body jerked violently. My heart dropped as the staff rushed in to tend to her.

"What's happenin' to ha'!?" I panicked asking nobody in particular.

"Sir you have to step out, you cant be in here!" The nurse gently pushed me towards the door.

"What's wrong wid' ha'!? Please!"

"You can't be in here! We will let you know something as soon as she's stable!" She slammed the door in my face.

Not even a minute later there was chaos in the hallway. Hospital staff ran in the opposite direction so I followed behind. They were going in the direction that Cash was at so I had to see what was going on.

When I got to the door, I saw the doctor come out of the room and remove his gloves.

"We lost him. He's gone. Time of death is two twenty nine am."

"NOOOOOO!" I punched the wall then leaned against it for support. It was the only thing that was keeping me from falling.

I wept and I didn't care who was around me. They took from me my brother. My blood. That shit cut me deep. Apart of me was gone and I didnt know how I would make it through this.

I went to the waiting area to sit down because I didn't know what else ta' do. At this point I'an unda'stand why. Why me?

"Excuse me? Are you the family of Sky Simmons?"

I quickly stood up. "Yeh. How is she? Is she ok?"

"Have a seat."

"Nah, is she ok? How is she!"

"I'm sorry to inform you that Sky did not make it. We did everything we could but we just couldn't revive her. Her time of death was at two twenty nine a.m."

All I could do was nod. This wasn't real man. Couldn't be.

"My brother. Corey Alsina . They was brought in from the same place. I wanna see them together."

"I don't know if that's possible sir."

"Please. They the only family I got. Just let me get my girlfriend from the bathroom. Please."

The gray haired doctor nodded in agreement so I rushed to the bathroom to get Natasha.

Leslie

We had finally gotten Rome's heavy ass from the hotel and to the warehouse with Amir. The fact that Rome wasn't willing to get on a plane with me and go to Flint had changed my plans and it pissed me off.

"So what do we do now? We can't get him on a plane like this." Peaches said.

He was still out cold from the shot I'd given him and so was Amir.

"Just leave them in the room until I figure something out."

"But what if she's on her way to Flint! This plan is all fucked up Leslie! Let's just leave! They won't find us if we just-"

"SHUTUP!" I rubbed my temples. "You're stressing me the fuck out! Just do what I say and shut the fuck up."

I looked over at Amir then frowned.

"Why is he purple? Peaches! Why the fuck is he purple!" I shook her shoulders.

"Who?! What, I don't know!" She cried.

I ran over to him and he wasn't breathing. "Oh my god he's not breathing! What the fuck did you do to him you bitch! He can't die yet!"

"I just gave him the shot and that's it!" She sobbed uncontrollably.

I put my head to his chest and heard a faint heart beat.

"He's still alive! We have to get him to Dr.Sanders! He has to survive!"

"What if he die! What are we gonna do! I'm scared!"

"If he die, you die! Call Dr. Sanders!"
