I sat down on the plane seat. The 2 hours of busily rushing around the airport was finally over. I breathed a sigh of relief. My anxiety was finally starting to diminish as my breath slowed to its normal pace. I had been spending the last half hour in a toilet trying to calm myself down. I can't stand crowds. My hands start going red and clammy and I can't breathe properly, and the airport was very crowded. I slid my dulled green case under the seat in front of me and plugged my headphones into my phone.
I stared out of the window as two people slid into the seats next to me. I started playing my playlist into my ears before the plane started circling the ground and took off. I gripped the seat as the plane soared into the air. The adventure has begun.
