Mark: how's the dumb party goin

Josh: like anal without lube

Mark: for ducks sake josh really? Why so vivid

Mark: **fucks

Josh: I'm gonna leave. At least free beer though

Mark: come over to my place?

Josh: aight see u in 10

Mark: bye xoxo

Josh: no.

Josh looked around, sighing as he saw his classmates trashing all the expensive furniture and spilling alcohol on the carpets. He saw a group of freshmen on a couch, huddled together, staying as one; their faces frantic with anxiety and eye balling every person as if they'd never seen a human. Jacob, a kid from Josh's World History class, had run across the group of freshmen and each of them gasped or shrieked. This only made them press up against each other even more. If they were to get any closer, they'd morph into one massive freshman.

Josh wondered why the fuck they got invited in the first place, or who invited them. It was then Josh realized he was never invited - he only heard of this party because he saw some random kid's text about a party at Devon's house on Montana Avenue. Luckily, he knew Devon, and remembered the address from when they used to hang out in middle school almost everyday.

They haven't talked since freshman year ever since Devon found out Josh was bisexual.

Josh moved from the wall he was previously leaning on, sipping on his red cup filled with cheap beer. He began to nudge his way through the kids, hoping an elbow doesn't pop him in the mouth. A few people parted the way for Josh and some called out to him, but he paid no attention to them.

The only person he would stop for was Tyler Joseph.

"He's a fucking floral obsessed weirdo." Maybe to some people, but not to Josh.

Josh saw the talent in Tyler. He heard the poetry in Tyler's words. He saw Tyler's bright smiles but the empty eyes. He noticed the way Tyler looks down when asked a question in AP Literature.

To Josh, Tyler was amazing, but with every human there's always a flaw. He was okay with Tyler's insecurities though. Even if Tyler felt worthless, Josh would know Tyler is the complete opposite of worthless. Tyler was perfect.

But with Tyler's great looks and musical talent and the insecurities that many of us share, Josh couldn't shake a certain vibe off of Tyler.

Usually people veer away from a person who doesn't feel right, and that's what Josh does too - but it felt different with Tyler. He was drawn to Tyler and he wanted to solve this mystery. Tyler's mystery. Why was Tyler so strangely compelling?

Josh has also noticed that almost every time he's turned around, Tyler is always in the crowd somewhere. Or when Josh is at track practice after school and see's Tyler walking away from the music building, Tyler never passes the gate that leads to the street, leaving Josh to think where could Tyler have gone?

Don't get him wrong, Josh loved seeing Tyler around, but sometimes it felt Tyler was just dropped in at the most random of times.

Like when Josh went outside his house to get the mail, who did he see tying their shoe laces next to the mailbox? Tyler.

Or the time Josh's mom told him to buy her a pint of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream at the store, who did he see in the same aisle? Tyler.

Tyler was just always, there.

So, what's up with Tyler...so spoopy.
