Love can be many things
But can also cause rejection
You lose them again and again
Which leads to depression
Yet somehow you know
In the depths of your despair
That the person you love
Might not even care
Missing them makes you wish
No matter how your heart is sore
Wishing wishing wishing wishing
It makes you miss them more
Your obsessing over them
Your friends have pointed out
You stutter and deny it
And then its something you forget about
Thinking of them all day
Thinking of them all night
It kind of makes you wish
That everything will be alright
But soon enough you learn
That they were bad to be with
They moved on faster than you'd think
And your left behind, forgotten
Forever is what they lied about
Forever is what they said
No more forever or lies
Just lay in the safety of your bed
Just don't let your mind stray
To the person who gave you up
Eventually they will realize
That you were just enough
But its too late
They had their chance
You turn and walk away
Without casting a backwards glance.
