"Come on, go out with me Shai. We can do anything, I just want to get out and do something." Hannah pleaded, giving me the pouty eyes as she flopped down and put her head in my lap, right on top of my keyboard. "Coffee Shop?" She suggested hopefully, as i untangled her hair from my laptop. I shook my head at her. "Movies"" She asked, wiggling more onto me. I just looked at her, eyebrows raised. She knew i hated people.
"Come on! Give me something! I'm drowning in loneliness here. Do you want me to die an old, bitter woman, cold and alone? Cause that's what's gonna happen if you don't do something with me." Hannah said, popping up to shake her finger at me. "I'm already bitter, and what's that? Do i feel an urge for cat affection? Oh, No!" She exclaimed, "It's started!"
She collapsed onto the floor with a dramatic flair. She was still for a moment, but only a moment before she peeked out at me from under her arm. I watched all of this from my comfortable spot on the couch, amused and only slightly irritated for the interruption.
"Bookstore?" She offered, a last plea bargain for me to leave the house and go explore the outside world. I grumbled unhappily, closing my laptop and stuffing it in it's rightful place under the couch. Hannah whooped in victory, jumping up off the floor and grabbing her bag.
I headed for the front door, grabbing my shoes from the rack and sliding them on. I reached for the knob and looked back at Hannah, who was still standing in the living room, now with a dejected look on her face.
"What?" I asked, perplexed.
"you're not wearing that, are you?"
